Been flying the Annie too long...

It's only been 2 weeks since I mothballed by Annie and took my new fdl for a spin.

Modded her out a little, took her on an enthusiastic stroll through a CZ.
and by the gods that is a zippy lil shi..p

Everything else is sluggish by comparison to me now.

And to think...I still have to give her dirty drives

I've actually grown bored of the game because ive been sitting in my Annie's bridge for almost a year now. Changed it up and picked up a python and Fdl and its brought new light to my gaming experience

I tried something similar after a long break from the game (the Conda felt weird when I came back to it).

But I just could not get into the flow of the FDL for the life of me; will say I am glad you are getting a much different experience though.

I switched from Anaconda to a sidewinder so I could go and fetch another ship to the same orbital. ... Took off and smashed into the ceiling, whizzed sideways trying to compensate, hit another wall ... it was like being a gnat in a jar. Those little fighters go FAST when you've been driving a conda for a while.

Just got back from Jaques the other day, Stored my Conda, and took out my Python (Dirty Drives Tier 3 only) and damn I forgot how quick she is compared to the Conda. I don't think I will be back in the Conda anytime soon.

I really only use my Annie for long distance exploration, and shuttling around engineer bases throughout the bubble.

Never really been tempted to fit it out for combat, it's just too unwieldy for my combat style.
