he said it was 40mil rebuy. assuming 5% rebuy he had to had 600mil worth of modules (which is not hard to reach).
i'd say cmdr GF was loaded with SBCs and hit by that engineered SCBs disruptor weapon (or similar idk).

And no, he was with a friend of his and was using Incendiary overcharged MC to burst down my shield while having a Feedback Cascade ready for my SCB.
My thermal resistance wasn't up to par, nor did I pay close enough attention to his load out to discover the cascade so the dance didn't last long.

Lack of thermal resistance on the shield and reliance on SCB without paying close enough attention to feedback cascades and burst damage from overcharged incendiary. I also overstayed my welcome in a 2v1 situation.

It's a pirate build, and I thought the CG was a pirate CG, until I realized it was convoy beacon camping.
The problem with the encounter was that it was a 2 v 1 and I didn't realize it until I saw my shield go down quite rapidly. My thermal resistance was still in the negative and there were quite a lot of thermal damage dumped on me. Then my build relies on SCBs to tank, which got feedback cascaded.
I also overstayed my welcome, that's for sure.
Since the encounter, my thermal resistance has been modded into +45%, and I redid some power priority management so I can jump on demand.
I've been away from meta PvP for too long, it's good to get back into it.
Tbh, the feedback cascade rail was the final nail in the PvP coffin of the big three.
Heat, torps, mines, phasing, all can be managed. But feedback cascade? No.

I think cascade is fine, since it was nerfed from its original "instant shield down." Just that when it is present, SCB needs to take a backseat.
