What did you get on "Your Special Day"?

Frontier didn't think my day was very special i guess cause I didn't get anything. :( You'd think they'd throw a girl a paintjob or something after I bought so many Cobra skins. Not to mention most of the rest of my fleet has at least 1 skin pack.

Truth be told, never expected anything anyway so, meh.

There was a mailshot earlier this year asking people to name their special day (didn't have to be a birthday, just a nominated day of your choice) and every year on that day they'd give you somethig nice. I remember at the time querying whether it was some kind of scam, since it ended up in my spam folder, but Frontier did confirm it was genuine.

Beginning to wonder now, if t was someone pretending to be frontier, pretending to confirm it was genuine, on a pretend forum... ...oh wait, now it's getting silly.

Does seem a bit odd that the mail didn't go out to everyone though. There was a Horizons screenshot competition as well, which also didn't seem to come to anything...

I got the e-mail, back in July. A discount off all in-game items from the Frontier Store, as I recall. Took the opportunity to buy a clutch of paintjobs for ships I've recently acquired or were planning on acquiring.

Finally, are you accounting for the timezone difference? Mine came late, because I'm in Australia, and it's already tomorrow in Australia.

Well I got an email for 20% off a product, however I was very sick for about 3 months and didn't get a chance to play around that time... lol... BOooooooo

on this special day you're allowed to pay 7 bucks to beta test something of a developer that doesnt want to pay for professional testers, and rather get paid for it.
