Yeah, IMO the focus here isn't really on SDC but on the incredibly stupid heat meta. The heat meta was so stupid, it even made it into kotaku and eurogamer.

I mean, these news sites want controversies since they are equivalent to views and click counts. SDC is the perfect subject for ED.
Let's be honest here, outside of SDC and The Code (not so much recently), there aren't much controversy to be had in ED (at least from what I understand).
