We have confirmed we will have the latest version of Elite: Dangerous BETA available to play at the event, along with Oculus Rift and Track IR.

For those in the forums who haven't pledged for this access, its a great chance to try the game and chat to others about it.

Sadly I won't be able to make it but have fun out there Commanders....

I'll have two spare seats in the car if anyone needs a lift up on the Friday. I'll be coming home on the Sunday night. I can pick up in Cardiff, Bristol and then anywhere along the M5/M42 I suppose.

I'll be in good spirits so I won't be in murder-mood. I'll be sure to leave the axe and the chainsaw at home. :D

I'd bring my DS, but all I have on it is Pokemon Platinum (honestly, and I've not even played that in a loooooooong time)

Hi Guys

Having such a great time with ED that (and seeing the output you guys are generating) I just had to book. I've found a hotel about a mile away for the Friday night, and I've booked the bed at the venue for the Saturday night. Not sure why people are worried about snoring, are we going to get any sleep? All night gaming I'm thinking.

Happy to help with the set up Friday afternoon. Trains permitting I'll be in Kettering around mid day, probably get to the venue around 13:00. If someone is driving up from the South Coast (Eastbourne) area, I'm happy to car share and chip in to the petrol fund.

I will also be bringing my G750JH lappie which runs ED sweet, with my Saitek X55. I'm quite happy for it to be used for demo purposes, especially if I can have a go with the Rift as I really want one, but have played with one yet so...

See you all there.

Where's the mode switch so I can assign more than one game key to those buttons? :D

I'm still not clear on one thing - is the "with bed" just for Saturday night?

I'll be driving up from south London if anyone wants a lift or picked up on the way. Depending on the bed situation I'll be travelling on Friday eve or early Saturday :)
