Did he drop any chemical manipulators?scanned the trader: narcotics. well, maybe.... maybe not. commodities are gone too
I'd pay real money for a comprehensible and complete guide to the BGS that explains what in devinitys edge is happening in such cases and why. Because the best thing i heared about the BGS and Influence, etc are educated guess and little solid information.
Metagaming slightly (if that's the right term), I'm a Kickstarter backer and get lifetime access to Founders World and thus get lifetime 10% discount on buying ships/equipment. I realise it's a slight game-imbalance, along with the slightly cheaper insurance, but I'd have thought FD should place the FW system outside any BGS, and remain with a single 100% minor faction. I do realise as the game progresses, and CMDRs make Elite, that that will also unlock access more CMDRs access to the FW.
When I need to buy the more expensive ships (anything above T6 / 1m cr) or modules for those bigger ships, I go to FW for the price savings. Indeed, I was thinking of heading over to add some more bits to my Asp Explorer ready for a longer exploration run. I might hold back on that, if it's not currently available.
I do really enjoy the BGS, and spent most of the last year flipping systems in my backwater. I get the mechanics, so I'm not against BGS per se, just that I feel FD should protect FW from its influence, at least to respect those KS backers who had FW access as an added thankyou for helping to pay to build the game in the first place.

Go to li Yong-Rui space and actually play the game, you'll get everything cheaper than founders.
In my opinion, the only things that founders should be immune to is faction control changes, and powerplay, which as far as I'm aware, both are already the case. Anything else goes for the system though. Besides, those who have access to founders should know how to find what they're looking for, for cheaper elsewhere. This entitlement nonsense blows my mind. It's a game, go play it, whether that's bounty hunting to fix the issue at hand or buying modules elsewhere and using your noodle in the process. Smh.
Or how about 'no'.
Do do you think the Elite/Founders can't find 15% discounts elsewhere? Why should idiotic commanders retain their permits to a privileged system, which is bound up with the heart of Elite's lore? For lulz? This entitlement nonsense blows my mind. Smh

Do you have a good reason for the no other than you feel that you have the god given right to all modules at a 10% discount?
The Pilots Federation are not the only faction in that system, I don't think they are the only ones that can revoke a permit to a system where millions live in. I could imagine a meeting and such to take place before they allow to revoke permits. If it was that simple I bet any minor faction with the power to give out permits would revoke said permits as soon as a pilot starts working against them.
They are the controlling faction, and they give you the permit. Do I really need to explain this? Shinrarta is steeped in lore, and behaving like an utter tool should get you booted. It wouldn't need to be permanent, people would 'get it' fairly quickly.
Controlling does not mean ''Able to take on every other faction in system at once. Either politically or militarily.''
Steeped in lore does not mean it should be immune to everything.
Still on lockdown? I went to the AB3 to join in the bounty hunting and got my butt handed to me on a plate.
Will sulk in the corner for a while.
It's not immune to everything! It's true that it remains independent from power play (lore) and the PF cannot be undermined (your point stands). But in terms of common sense, given the nature of the PF, Commanders abusing their headquarters should have their access revoked.
It's okay if we disagree, but I don't think we'll get any further here.
