Horizons How many of you don't watch the vanilla thread ("Dangerous Discussion")?

I am just unsure where to post general questions that don't particularly apply to Horizons, as theoretically they would be the same answer in the vanilla game. So I have been posting them there, but it occurs to me that maybe most have moved on to Horizons and no longer watch the vanilla thread. So in order to determine the best placement of vanilla questions, I am posting this poll:

How many of you don't watch the vanilla thread ("Dangerous Discussion")?

Um... I watch ONLY the vanilla thread. Every now and then there is some interesting topic name in the subforum preview (like this one) and only then I come around here.

I completely ignore the fact that this forum is divided into different branches. I only ever view "New Posts", "Today's posts" and "Subscribed Threads".

Never seen a "Dangerous Discussion" Thread.

There's a "Dangerous Discussion" SubForum though, equivalent to the "Horizons Discussions" SubForum this very Thread has been posted in

Anyway, I still read the Dangerous Discussions SubForum, as it often goes around big/central topics that affect the entire Game.

Posting in the Horizons forum usually means low participation. Most people ignore it and I've taken to posting in the Dangerous Discussion forum.

It's gotten to the point of why is there a Horizons forum anymore.

i am the opposite. i mainly stick in general.. why???

because everywhere else is too fragmented. Take engineers... thats horizons too and does not need its own forum imo.

also, most of the stuff even in horizons is possibly of interest / relevant in one way or another to those of the base game.

In the engineers sections I usually seen topics about materials, how to get them, best engineering stuff and that kind of things while in the general horizons forum you see stuff general to the expansions and not target related on something. I say this as I found all my questions about engineers in the engineers and much too little in the general one. I actually advice everyone that have questions about engineers to browse that section, very helpful
