This is a letter to all the members of Frontier who contributed and still do in making Elite.
My friends bought me Elite Dangerous as a gift right before 1.2 dropped.I immediately fell in love with this game and started reading the forums and every wiki article I could find for this game.David Braben's interviews back then had me really excited about the future of Elite.I would discuss with my friends for hours about the many possibilities this game has to become something amazing, even more than it is now.I specifically remember reading a wiki article on the Anaconda and its ability to launch small vessels and thinking how awesome would it be to see that in game and pilot a small fighter.Today 2.2 came out and that fantasy came true.Launching with a fighter was kinda breathtaking.
But what I find trully amazing is the fact that with every update this game comes closer and closer to what we were told it was going to become.Back when I read the article on ship launched fighters from the Anaconda it felt so distant. But here we are, with ship launched fighters.
So, I really wanted to thank everyone at Frontier for making this dream a reality, slowly but steadily.
