The number of backers is going to explode after E3 ?

I think it will have a big impact, even if not necessarily an immediate impact.
Raising awareness of it's existence is monumental. Planting the seed and watching it grow should be interesting. Even reminding people to see how progress is coming is pretty big as far as getting more.
And as people paid hundreds on SC (often more) what is so unreasonable (after seeing trailers and videos) about them paying $150 (B1) or even $75 (B2)? After paying $200-$800 or more on SC?
The fact is, people are willing to part with money for a good space genre game!
I think the biggest reason so few over here aren't already backers is simply most are not aware what E: D is and of it's potential.
Yes, I fully believe that FD will see a large(r) 'lurch' in numbers due to the resulting media from E3.
Time will tell.

Many people still just look at ED as just a low budget game because they only compare the kickstarter funds raised, so 45mil versus 2-3mil.
If people knew that ED also had around 20mil extra from other sources then they may alter their vision.

It's really what i though last year when i stumbled on both SC and ED simultaneously, disregarding ED as low budget, until i did some more research and when alpha was released my eyes were really opened.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.
No gamer really cares how much backing a game has raised or pretty much anything beyond how much fun they could have playing it.
Expose them to the potential, stay the course and watch what happens.
If you build it they will come!
Seeing is believing. The issue is most haven't taken the time to look.

Thats why i backed both ED and SC, for more rezsonable amount (120€ for ED and 60€ for SC), these games are really promising!
