Where are the luxury missions?

I just spent a bunch of time (and most of my credits) purchasing an Orca and getting it equipped (with class 6 luxury cabin). And I've spent the past 2 hours looking for a station that has a mission requiring a luxury cabin, and I just can't find one. I've tried logic (like tourist stations in densely populated Boom sectors), but there doesn't seem to be any method to the mission generation. Could someone help me find a good station? Empire is preferred, but I'll take anything at this point. Thanks in advance.

Using non-horizons version, 1.7.

I think the best place to find passenger missions, like any mission, is in stations in which you are Allied with. Without appropriate local rep, you won't get offered the juicy contracts.

Luxury cabins can be used to ferry anyone though.

Are you saying they don't even show up if you don't have enough rep? Because I just assumed that they would show up and I just couldn't accept them if my rep wasn't high enough.

Also, I'm aware that I can put anybody in the luxury cabin, but I was hoping to get some of those high paying contracts that took advantage of the Orca, seeing as I could have put First Class/Business/Eco cabins into more convenient ships.

I have had them at wealthy economies.

This is probably a really dumb question, but where can I find if a system is wealthy? I haven't played for quite a while, and that info used to be on the System Map and on the commodities screen, but I don't see it anymore.

I've since found a few luxury passenger missions. They weren't any more profitable than the other missions for first class, business, etc. A bit disappointing.

Systems aren't wealthy, individual stations are. So select a station on the sysmap and look at the info tab. It could say 'wealthy huge' for example, indicating it s (you guessed it!) richer and bigger than average. :)

I meant to use the word "Station" instead of "System", and the way you describe is the exact method I used to use to determine that. But it's not there anymore. I've looked carefully and many times, and I just don't see it. Would you be willing to confirm that it actually works in your game right now, not just from your memory?

i saw a luxury mission paying 13 big ones for a chief executive, only wanted to travel 70 or so light years.

Good to know. Perhaps my ranks just aren't high enough yet for the more lucrative offers.

Will check tomorrow. Economy type got moved a bit downwards, could be that subtypes are also moved a bit, not sure.

Saw 2 missions at Jameson offering 90 and 110 mil a piece, luxury passenger missions to Sag A*. I am Allied with Pilots Fed though.

Pricing seems rather random, so I wouldn't hold out hope for luxury payouts being a higher average. Had a first class transport of a general and 7 staff less than 20 LY paying 7 mil, and a first class 3-hop totaling about 215LY that payed 19.6 mil. Had 15-20 business class that payed 8 mil for 25LY. Random.
