The new war CG, who are you fighting for and why?

I'm going to be fighting for the Ant Hill group because the federation needs to be kept in check, they can't keep deciding they can do whatever they want, especially screwing with engineers and keeping us away from alien stuff

I mean, the first time humanity expanded out of the Sol system, they did so as Independents and started massacring the alien wildlife on the world they colonized, and the Federation had to step in to protect the species.


The Imperial home world is one founded on the genocide of a fellow sentient species.

Sirrus Corp decimated the last alien race humanity contacted with the Mycoid "virus."


And I just don't trust the alliance regarding alien species considering their collusion with Thargoids in the past, but their experience would be welcome.


If anyone should be administrating humanities endeavors regarding any alien species, the Federation is the only faction in game, besides the Alliance, with the track record that is absent any genocide or mass extinctions, and are therefor the only faction we can trust with control of the Maia System.

No-one. I would be with the Imps, but;

1) Upgrade didn't work so I'm currently installing The Witcher 3.
2) When I do get round to upgrading I'm in the middle of an engineers tour.

I will eventually support all Empire CGs until I'm King with a Cutter, and then I'll support the Feds until I'm an Admiral with a Corvette. By then I hope the Alliance will have Ranks & Ships, and I'll support them.

Think I'm a traitorous turn-coat now? Wait 'til the Thargoids show up!

I know exactly how you feel.

Honest question to participants: How many of you are ranked with BOTH navies, and no matter who you choose will be fighting your allied faction? Does it make a difference to you?

There has to be a shipyard at a starport or planetary base in order to do a ship transfer and the closest one to Maia is 150ish LY away.

Wow. just noticed that Fed side is Horizons-owners only. Bonds need to be handed over on a planetary outpost while the opposition uses Obsidian Orbital. Hmmmmm...

Let's all not forget why this war has started. The engineer found a use for meta alloys on combat ships, that's why the feds blockaded his workshop. And why they are trying to shoulder barge their way I.
Before this happened they banned UA's but at the same time started to horde them (one of the ways to get them being to take them from convoys). And correct me if I'm wrong (I could be so please correct me) they blockaded or restricted people having access to barnacles.

They were gathering meta alloys and restricting others from getting it because they knew an application would be something to further their military might. And now that the engineer has cracked whatever it is they are holding him hostage in his own workshop.

So this is a power grab, one that needs to be thwarted.
Alliance, Empire, Independents, we need to work together to stop this. Because as the previous CGs have show the feds can't be beaten by the empire alone.

After just completing the tribute to Walter CG, I seriously doubt I'm gonna even go to this combat CG. I pushed pretty hard in this last one and kinda need a break. Besides... The Ant Hill Mob aren't exactly Imperial.... Are they?

Yeah, the Empire should be the ones doing that!

They are criminals anyway, aren't they? Having them in the cluster benefits no one, they would hamper efforts to study the artifacts more than anyone.

The empire is pretty bad (except Aisling, shes just naive asf), but the Federation is corrupt asf!
