I usually expect you guys to find things quickly, it's when you don't that I start to worryBesides this is just the first step...

Martuuk, Quent and Palin are probably the best candidates. They have the interest, the connections and the materials.
Yo.Micheal...urr..any hints on what to do next?
was there any in-game way of finding it, or was the video leak intentional? kinda hoping to see some hints in the game itself, or is that irrelevant now and is scrapped?
Besides, MB is too busy sitting in his enormous swivel chair and stroking his white cat.
Right, I have been flying around Asterope for the last two hours, even went out as far as Asterope B & C... Surely if there were a signal source to spawn it would have done so by now?
I have had one degraded emission signal source and that's it.
I'm starting to doubt whether it's in the game at all. There's only so many places it could be in this system based on where the Cobra is. I must have come within range of the USS by now.
That's assuming it's even a USS and FD want to make us randomly drop out of SC into it instead...
Oh, I can see that...
"Do you expect us to find these Aliens and talk to them?"
"No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die!"
(Oh, yeah, that was Goldfinger. Sorry. )

Yeah cause that would really work wouldn't it. Maybe you were around for the UAs maybe you weren't, maybe you were around for the barnacles maybe you weren't, maybe you were around for the UPs maybe you weren't. Every single time as soon as a discovery is made there's always a couple of people who demand to know what's next, is there more to find, where should we look, why don't you give us a clue.
Do you expect the Devs to hand hold us all the way through? It couldn't possibly work. Say there's 3 stages to a mystery, as soon as we solve the first stage through badgering FD say no there's still more to solve, solve the second and the same thing, solve the third and then they say nope that's it now until the next patch. Everyone (casual) gives up and moves onto something else, only interested in the new things and missing out on potential links between the things we have discovered already.
Do the UAs serve a greater purpose or are they haphazardly scanning and transmitting our ship details?
Do the barnacles serve a greater purpose or are they just for harvesting materials and Meta-Alloys?
What purpose do the UPs serve?
Still plenty to answer and many more besides, though you only seem to be interested in new shiny things.
It does sound suspiciously like ID4 of you switch cat for Brent Spiner....
That's not good...
Can I just check, when you guys are talking about ancient relics, is that a catch all phrase for the different items that are at the site? So far I've found a couple of ancient tablets, an ancient orb and and an ancient casket. The last two have me a little concerned since they're now in the hold of my ship. I'm not all that keen on the idea of an undead alien hatching out of the casket in the cargo hold while I'm off exploring outside...
Ernst Stavro Blofeld sitting in a swivel chair stroking Brent Spiner????
I must have missed that part in ID4...
There'll be no hints.
