Before I make an attempt at transcribing the looping sequence (into a machine-readable format), has anyone else started this?

Also, are we aware if all the obelisks show the same sequence?

There's one distinctive combination that's quite easy to spot, where the top-left glyph shows a "2" shape:

Years... and then it stays dark for ages..... "and they mostly come out at night, mostly....."

I am very sure that this stuff is going to be the next clue when we decode it, probably using the triangle computer theory from a few pages back.

When people mention the animations on the obelisks, are they talking about the sequence of rapidly pulsating triangles on one of the sections? I suspect these sequences are going to be a puzzle all to themselves.

Those large metal (or metal-like) structures that are generally at the borders of the area certainly look some kind of supports or mounting points. If this was an old fortress they could be mounting points for defense weapons.

However, I think that the whole place is a huge landing pad for a specific type of spaceship and the metal-structures are supports for the ship. The placement of the support structures looks natural if this is a landing pad. All bumps and dents are then related to the shape of that type of spaceship or to an unknown machinery under the landing pad.

(Related. Some dents are under metal (or metal-like) triangles and so do not seem to be dents from physical pressure above the ground.)

Have a look at Vall's work on the front page. I'm just in the process of videoing each one before I scan them to compare results.

I've noticed while fuel scooping, the ship makes noises. They're like squeaks. These noises are coming from the cargo since there were no noises before collecting these items.
Are the Ancient goods heat sensitive? I'm certain they're making high pitched noises.

Good to hear that, I thought I have some kind of paranoia ;) Same thing for me, strange noises while fuel scooping.

Messages from unregistered comms beacons
I note the number of digits in the messages in Eravate and Lave are both prime numbers
179 digits in E and 139 in L.
When I think of two primes I also think of public key cryptography.
Secondly - timing.. one at 10 mins past, one at 30 mins past is this significant?
New Sol Objects
I spent some time at Peresphone just flying around at lowish altitude - encountered lots of NPC's, some scanning for pirates. Ground installations 1. Small "base" with some guarded cargo cannisters and one parked up NPC anaconda.
No sign of anything interesting - but there is a lot of surface!

Its been what? 2 days now? I havent seen it dark nor seen a single screenshot at night. I almost think its tidally locked to the sun. Or it is a very very long day.

I just came from the newly discovered ancient runins and I have to say, it's currently not entirely certain that it was build by aliens. If is was alien in origin then we just found a new race. It does not have any similarities with the alien wreck that was found a couple months back. With a distance of 368 LY from earth it is very close to the inhabited bubble, even closer than the alien shipwreck. This race, if it is one, does have a fondness for the number 3. The alien wreck looked more "octagonal" and biological if you catch my drift. If this new site was not build by aliens, then we might have found a remanent of one of the generation ships lauched in the first half of the last millenium. They could have reached that far, but the tech they left behind looks very sophisticated and there seem to be no housing facilities. Judging by the still funcioning data terminals, it is more likely that the structures we see are serverfarms. It might have been a fully automated listening post. It would explain why there are only 2 round shaped landingpads. One other possibility we should not discard is the idea that we found the remanents of a AI facility. We know from the history books that AI was outlawed at some point. This could have been a research facility or a base used by an AI that escaped when humanity started to deactivate them. It's all pretty much speculation atm, but that's my two cents.
We propably will know more soon

Nice idea... If this were a 'listening post' there could be more of them at a similar distance from Sol, or around the bubble.
