just a couple of questions about materials , and grammar in game .

in the future is "snake" used instead of sneak ? some missions on the boards say - snake in 5 litres of elite barley etc .. etc .. is this correct ? i would have thought sneak in 5 litres of elite barley , not "snake"

Im ranking up within the federation , and with that , comes new ship choices , i have an eagle at present , and believe i get a 20% off the mark 2 eagle at sol system . Thing is i have a few materials in my eagle , just wondering if i buy the eagle mark 2 . do my materials ( the stuff used for engineers that doesn't show in the cargo hold ) do they transfer over to my new ship , or do they stay in the old ship ??? kinda hoping not since if this is the case , its complete crappiness . :S[sour]

To answer your question on materials, yes you keep then when transferring ships and even on ship destruction. Only cargo is lost on destruction and cargo can transfer to ships if the new ship has enough cargo space otherwise you can't buy /transfer.

The only other eagle I know of is the imperial eagle which isn't sold at sol ifaik.

i got the mk2 eagle thing off the wiki .... but you are correct, its called the imperial eagle . - thanks for the materials info .

But why?

Did someone realise they couldn't spell "sneak" and stopped trying to pretend otherwise? Mind you, some people think sneaked should be spelt as "snuck" and dived as "dove", let alone making the past tense of "to lead" be "lead" instead of "led"... so it takes all sorts to muck up a language.
