Horizons Interdictions in solo

I have noticed that when an NPC interdicts me, and we have a barney the NPC's are highwaking out.
I have a reasonably good ASPX (Engineered a bit)
Can't get much money trading.
Can't get much money combating.
Can't get much money doing missions.
Can't find any bloody skimmers.
FD is ing us off big time.

And to make matters worse the passenger liners are filling the airwaves with comments to their passengers. (Bloody ridiculous)

Can't get much money trading. - Buy a T7 and find some nice slave-trade route
Can't get much money combating. - Buy a Vulture and farm Resource extraction sites
Can't get much money doing missions. - Keep and Asp, but try to stay in one place to raise your rep. If the mission board is bugged, move someplace else.
Can't find any bloody skimmers. - Fly at 2km above ground to be able to see points of interest. Land in the middle of one, deploy the SRV and try and find the artificial signal (upper half of the scanner band. 80% of the time it'll be canisters or a small building-ey thing guarded by skimmers.

Apparently FD said that current mission rewards are bugged and being investigated.

If you want missions that pay off you have to become allied with the factions from your home base, assuming that you have a home base. If you don't, I would suggest you work to become allied at one with all factions except the criminal one, because when you are res farming you're going to kill mostly their ships (they are the bad ones any way). Keep a couple of ships there, CMNDR Simon is correct about a Vulture (holds my all time record for res, 5 mill CR in one go).

For months I have been based at LHS 28 because 15% discount and it seems centrally located. Keep all my three ships and now modules there.

Works well for me.

FD is pushing this passenger thing, hence the radio chatter, I am lukewarm about it. I only transport tourists, businessmen and refugees. The rest are a bunch of entitled, demanding or criminal bunch. Transports in my Corvette, so I can shoot things, when they come calling.

I'm friendly, cordial and everything in between in my area of influence. I have been using several close by systems as home bases and it works well. It makes it hard if I wanted to do in pirates. Some of the cordial factions have pilots interdicting me occasionally.
If they attack and fire, I don't get into trouble but I get a bit of red in my reputation slider.
I just got a mission to get 27 units of Palladium for 717,000. best since 2.2 started.

You didn't mention "allied", that is the key. No matter what you do, the missions will vary but they are better if "allied".

Well that's really down too you not FD. Since Guardians was deployed, I bought a Keelback kitted it out A rated where required added fighter bay and economy class cabins to try and make money shuttling passengers I have paid for ship and all fittings and am now very well into profit had some fun interdictions made money on most with the fighter in support the keelback has more scope as it is NOT restricted to Major stations or terrestrial bases some easy money to be made to and from the smaller ones. So its been good to me so far, oh btw recommend you fit a cargo rack to store the cargo some passenger's add as part of the payment as atm its hard to hand in the mission if you are unable to accept the cargo offered, that may be by design or a bug not sure at this stage. Only issue I have is the repeated "unable to get mission list from Server" that really needs fixing and should have been by now especially for time sensitive passenger missions to hand in, if the relevant server/network cant cope then that's an FD issue not game play intended, too many repeated calls to it seems to get you hit with the "Adjudicator server" and dumped to main menu.

The whole point i think you are missing here mate is. I DO NOT want to be forced to be a BUS driver to make enough to pay insurance on my ship. I dont think i can make it any simpler then that. If the whole pay thing was such a issue with the long haul sothis run then here's 1 solution. The best amount for a 144 unit del i ever saw was 10 mil, cut 2 mil of the base make it 8. So a 7 mil mish now pays 5. Ok so a 432 cargo like my conda i wont make 40-50 mil a run every couple hrs it will be 20-30. Also bring combat and BH, mining and all the rest up as well to balance. Believe me i would rather be blowing stuff up then running 2 hr cargo hauls, in that again i was forced to play that way to get above the grind. I refuse this time. Why force us to new content by slashing 90% of pays?

Its reported to be a bug that said, use ur loaf do something else till its fixed. Nothing is perfect in this imperfect world we live so just deal with it.

Some people gain their life thinking in a good gameplay like this. Is wonderful don´t you think.

ALLIED is the ONLY ranking that makes any significant difference in mission rewards and quality. Pick a faction you like in a system with a lot of systems nearby and rank up to Allied with them. Then kit out a decent passenger ship using a high jump range platform like the Asp X or Anaconda. The passenger missions offered to an allied commander are in the MILLIONS of credits even for simple A to B runs of under 40 Ly between systems. Sightseeing missions can pay as high as 7 Million for about 30 minutes worth of jumping around. (In a High Jump Range Ship).

You can get by with a couple of (3) passenger each small 1st class cabins which will fit in most ships, or if you have an available 6 class slot, equip the larger one that holds 12 and pair that with a small one that holds 3. That combo should give you a crack at most of the best and highest paying PMs on offer.

The regular missions are indeed bugged with low payouts right now, so don't bother with those. The SRV wave scanner is broken so that rules out POI based surface stuff until it gets fixed. That leaves either Engineer modding (When fisherman can't fish...) or the aforementioned Passenger Missions.

However... if you seriously need cash, these new PMs are offering FAR MORE $$$ than anything we have seen from standard missions in a VERY LONG TIME. If you can't afford an Asp X or Anaconda in order to take advantage of them, then use your existing ship until you have earned enough cash to buy one.

But beyond just grinding PMs to buy a better PM ship, trying to do the sightseeing missions with less than a 40 Ly+ jump range is a "literal" waste of time in my opinion. It certainly isn't at all cost effective. Unless you enjoy looking over at your nav panel and seeing 18 jumps to your next Visitor Beacon instead of the 2-3 jumps I would see in my Conda Passenger Liner. ;)
