what is the best way to make money in 2.2

what is the best way to make money in 2.2 what kind cabin in different kind of ship should i buy

I'd hold off until frontier fix the cargo-based mission payouts. Because then you can make an informed decision. If you want money in the meantime? Asp/ Anaconda/ Python and passenger missions 12-24kly out. Best of luck. It's rare that the super long range high paying passenger missions require Lux cabins; usually business or first class is sufficient.

Just remember, it's not just to fly all the way out; you have to return as well. So that 3 week jaunt is really 2 weeks, allowing 1 week for return.

Passenger missions by far give the best payouts.
Just watch out for the ones with extremely high payouts - they involve Wanted passengers, and if you get scanned coming out of a station, you're dead.
Granted, it's actually not that hard to avoid being scanned - just go into silent running just before you exit, hug the station until you clear mass lock and jump.
You'll need to burn a heat sink or two to not overheat and get scanned, but it's possible to pull these off too. Same holds true for making your arrival, come at your destination in Silent Running and you'll be OK.
And watch out for the extreme distance missions - 30-50m for a passenger haul might sound tempting, but a 27k light year journey is something of an epic trip.

Skimmers are still rather profitable, as are Assassinations, but Assassinations can be a huge pain with the current interdiction mechanics - it's far too easy for your target to escape now.
Mining and Rare Item trade seem unaffected, and also remain viable sources of revenue.
I've not yet resumed my regularly scheduled bounty hunting because I'm still far from my ships in an Orca, but I reason it's probably not too different either.

Very true. If you are allied with a faction, passenger missions are very lucrative. This is the highest payout I've ever seen for a single mission.

However, this time jump range is ridiculously long. But you can get transports for 5-8 mil on single jump - approx 13LY.

passenger missions from high tech/industrial/tourism/service economies with controlling faction in boom - if you have good reputation there.

state depending trading (boom extraction to boom industrial/high tech and back). you can use that to farm reputation ;-)

i personally combine trading with pasenger missions, you want a class 6 first class cabin, a class 5 business, and something small economy. you can store them in the hightech/industrial system, and fill your hold with cargo, if there is no good mission.

I think the 2 or 3 stop missions pay rather well. About 5 million (from hightech, allied) for 1 hour of flying. Not spectacular, but decent enough.

Remember if you are going the mission stacking route there is a limit of nine missions allowed at any one time.
I might be wrong but I think that is a reduced number from what it was in 2.1.

*Apparently you can still stack 20 missions. Maybe my game is bugged.

I've done a couple, the main upside is I find a few stars to scan/systems to honk along the way so helps with explorer rank.

That said, generally short range one-way passenger missions tend to pay more.
