Guardians 2.2 Behold!!!! Then again..........."move along, this is not the expansion you are looking for!"

There was one new 'transport vehicle' added to tourism stations going around with the yellow trucks.

God, some people are never happy ;)

If it's the black one, it's the luxury respray $3.50 paintjob variant of the yellow one and has been there since 2.0 landed ;-)

The point is that E:D is a clone of Elite Final Frontier and First Encounters. The whole gameplay mechanic is: Fly,scan, shoot, interact with the station board, drive with the SRV (okay thats new in the Elite History) and the whole looting and crafting stuff. Its a Simulator. You can´t get much more out of it.The Question is: How do they go on with the Gameplay Mechanic progress? Especially when they (perhaps next year) release First Person Activity. Will it be RPG like Mass Effect (which i would really prefer)? Or will you just walk around ships, stations and cities or whatever. Another Question for me is: Why don´t they orientate it by the great bunch of MMOs which are out there, especially in Multiplayer. I would pay Millions when they put Raids against Battleships or something like that and not that textformed CG´s.

Yes, sorry, it's next to nothing for what you are getting.

£40 is the cost of the CMDR Deluxe edition, with the game, a season pass and some extras.

Most games are charging £20 to £30 for a DLC they release every few months whereby they add a couple of maps to an already regurgitated game that cost £50 to start with. I struggle to see why no-one bats an eyelid at that, but question FD on £20 for over a year's worth of updates in a game that is breaking new ground?

Of course there's bugs. They happen, and they're less fearsome than the stuff I am seeing in Battlefield 1 right now. People seem to think that a relatively small dev team like FD have a magic "content creation" or "bug fix" button. Nope, sorry. Every fix, every tweak, every addition takes man hours. They cannot spot everything themselves, it shows a total lack of ANY understanding to believe for a second they should be able to, and it's not their fault if beta players are more interested in pew-pewing with new tools than actual bug testing.

As for network issues...this is right out the ball park now. I have none of these issues, none of my friends have these issues, most of the people that play ED do not have these issues, and those that do very quickly get put down to having issues with....yup, their network.

The wing disconnect issue has been known since the Wings update was released. The fact that you somehow managed to avoid it doesn't fix it for the others that have experienced it. And I don't expect them to play-test every little bug themselves; never said they should. Just the critical ones. Point being, several major issues that could lead to the destruction of a player's ship through no fault of their own were let through to the 2.2 release, despite being listed as "fixed" in the patch notes.

Oh, chill it. Do you think that behind closed doors, there's a team of devs going "let's put this in the patch notes but not actually put the fix code in so they have something to complain about"? Or is it more apt to appreciate that perhaps even developers are human, they DO need more than 45 mins sleep per night, and sometimes in the world of complex coding/game development you can put all the effort you want in, and sometimes things will just go wrong? Because I can definitely attest to this.

If you want fully thorough bug testing, I am sure FD will not bewail you dropping them a few thousand quid to hire a couple more bug testers, though Fred Brooks has something to say about this..

Ummm... You know they simply walk up and stand behind your seat, where you can't see them!?

...what? I'm simply asking for accurate patch notes. Not that it's some conspiracy to make players complain, but just to mark something as a "known bug" if it's something they can't fix before release. Testing of the particular one I'm thinking of, where a wanted NPC deploys a fighter that's clean and gives its attacker a bounty, could easily be tested in a HiRES in five minutes or less. That, and I think it was one of the earliest bugs reported in the beta.

For me to LIKE 2.2 it must not nerf other content we played in 2.1 as it has with Long Range Trading & Missions.
It must add Content that I can find without having to in way of reference on the Forums (as is always the case) but should enter my gameplay just as the Invitations to Engineers do. Not even NAVY Missions do this unless you are about to Rank up! Here I am talking about all the added Content like Civilian Docks from Arena; Geysers; Alien stuff; interesting Bases etc. etc.
All it has done for me is ruin my gameplay to now be BH in RES to try regain all my lost assets wiped by this new update.
I am seriously peeved with the HUD GUI which is pants. Change this and the payouts then I WILL PLAY.

There are plenty of ways to make easy money in game, Ceos and Sothis gave players a bad habit, they just have to kick it and get over it.

I played 2.2 for a couple of hours until I got access to G5 PAs. Still incredibly useless. We are still immortal (hitpoint inflation). Didn't even touch passengers and fighters since it is more than obvious that they are not worth it anyways. New stuff on planets but for what use? Can I glue it to my ship or cockpit? Do I get credits for them? Can I put my name on it? Worthless, keep moving on.
Ruins. Okay, cool but what exactly are they good for? Actually what is the UA or UP good for apart from annoying malfunctions in stations and ships?
Alien crash site? Might be just randomly put there. No meaning until today.
Merope?
NPCs still behave not logical (Sidewinders interdicting Anacondas).
Career unbalanced. Sothis/Robigo/Ceos were the go to while mining is garbage and spawn NPCs everywhere.
Grinding. Not challenging, repetetive and low value/payout tasks. I simply can't do like 300 million credits with one larger challenge.
Multiplayer "Fix" for wings. Nope. This is simply false. Wing signal bug still exsists. 700m wing signal, moving, GG.
Rubberbanding.
Stutter.
Server connection errors.
Crashes.
You know, Powerplay exists as well.
"We take combat logging very seriously." No, this is a false statement. Considering your not existing actions you are ignoring it which does not equal the meaning of "Taking it seriously". You don't even watch the combat logging reports.
Modeswitching is not working as intended (official dev statement) and yet nothing is done to fix it.
Despite requests: no dev updates since 03.03.2016.
No exact dates for releases and no roadmap for major fixes and improvements.
Still no ship naming.

General undetailed statements (if at all) regarding improvements. But content that isn't ready.

If by "easy" you mean "needlessly time consuming and not fun for a payout which isn't even guaranteed".

So you found hauling S for big money fun, would you have done it for normal payouts, not likely. Yeah, plenty to do and easy money is only a jump away. I'm afraid there is a tendency for boring people to get bored fast, something about lack of imagination. I`m sure that there is actually scientific evidence for such with numerous studies citing same, check them out, anyway I`m off to make some easy money while having fun.

With the tone of your OP did you really expect anything constructive? It's another case of anyone who doesn't agree with me is a troll because my OP was passed down from the mountain. While I might agree with a few of your point the tone and wording of your posts come across as entitled and combative.

I read this balanced and considered reply in the voice of your avatar and chuckled.

And what of this is game breaking?

I see some bug, neither of them is able to ruin my gameplay however.

I am talking about me of course. :)

The fact that you dont know the meaning immediately is kind of the point of a mystery, you know.

Friends: We have a cool surprise for you!
Crimson Kaim: A surprise? I dont even know what it is. Get lost!
Friends: Oh common, its a gift. Just open it!
Crimson Kaim: Why would I? I cant even see whats in it because of the gift paper you put all over it...
Friends: Never mind...
