The instancing doesn't work in our favor, though.

I flew over to Gyvatices in my Vulture all ready to die for king and country. Got there, quiet instance with a few traders. Landed, refueled, took off again (I think that sends you into a new instance, not sure though). Prowled outside Walter Dock looking for a fight. Saw a nice pvp match that was over before I got there. low-waked to prowl the system in SC. saw a bunch of people in combat ships but realized I had no idea if they were the bad guys or not. Then I got interdicted and destroyed by a wing of clippers and fdls. Not sure if they were "bad guys" or "good guys" who were defending the traders and thought i was a ganker.

Anyhoo, as I am fairly new and still poor I decided to      as I had no idea what I was doing and didn't want to lose anymore money.

Next time my plan will be this:

1) get to CG station.
2) ask in chat if anyone else wants to wing up and work protection (and make clear that I am a      pilot, don't want to plant any false hopes).
3) Try not to die
4) ...
5) Profit?

Attacking SDC (a group that exists purely for combat) via the BGS seems rather futile, but what do I know...

Yeah I know right.. You point out a home truth and the hate comes flooding in.. Also happened to conincide with the moderation 'team' looking the other way. I'd make personal comments too but the rules only seem to apply to some.

Fact is the only way some people succeed in this game is because Frontier offer them a safe space, free from all those nasty bad people out there. aw.. :p

Edit: and I think what Massive means is that instead of the good guys fighting each other, we should be coordinating together to fight groups like SDC. For my part I don't have a problem with you, it's just that you decided to single me out

That is just you projecting. I highly doubt you did it in open so why would they be upset?

If anything, that is a victory for them proving that the only way people can really get back at them is by playing solo/group.

If you had done it in open it would have been an accomplishment though.

It's not my fault they are no good at the game and got beaten in really short order, I would have preferred it to have taken longer but when the other side is scared to turn up what can you do. The best bit is that after they ran away crying FD offered them their ball back, and they got into a sulk and refused to play anymore with the mean scary carebears.
