How do I delete Star Systems now? I have a Star System called 'DESTINATION' which obviously doesn't exist. I know I can change this in the db to #EMPTY, but how do I do it in TCE itself? Going to DATABASE and LOCATIONS won't allow me to locate the star system, so I'm unable to delete it.

You can't anymore. The database is only editable by TCE itself. Therefore I am in total control

. If you find any, please post it so will remove them.

Are you saying I can't edit it? And should wait for the update to remove it? I do find a few each gaming session, or used to with 1.3.x.x version.

Please verify your database. If there is an error, please make a copy of it and send it to me, thereafter repair it.

Sry Eventure, i was to fast, there was a error in the logbook DB but repair'd it befour i read ur post.
I tested it out again after repairing it and it seemd to work. I switched between the logbook, markets, places....and than, after some klicks i got a new error:

great minimap stays put now thank you
but ,, not sure if this is intentional , the map disappears on landing as it should , but reappears on take off
and stays there till i jump again

The cargo list did not update quantities when I used Ion Distributor with the engineers.

I'm not seeing the Minimap at all, I've been to a few Planetary Stations and nothing has come up, and yes it's selected in the Options.

I have an intermittent issue with saving new stations, sometimes the station details are all saved but the commodities are not, and there's no CONNECT button. I have to quit out of TCE and start again and now I have the CONNECT button.

The only times mine does that is when the stations gets doubled up
(unregistered stays in summary after adding a new registered station)
make sure you check the summary after adding a station.
But if that is your problem it should be fixed in 1.4.0.8, as long as you delete the already existing doubles from the summary, sometimes you do have to restart after that, not sure if it's still the case in .8

1.4.0.8, Just added my first station since updating and it still got doubled up in the Summary panel. It is usable thought even before I delete the unregistered one but that doesn't mean much since it was that way half the time before the update. I am sending you my db now, before deleting the double.

I'm not sure if this will be a helpful hint or not but I've checked in DATABASE and there is only 1 copy there :

Probably not since unregistered station don't seem to appear in the list anymore.

I get the message "server down" when I call the market data via the EDMC connection. The EDMC tool can connect perfectly.

This is probably just my ignorance so maybe someone can help me. I have various markets registered in TCE that I have brought over from when this new version was released.

I just went to add a new market for the first time and I do not get a save button. All red boxes are filled in and I pressed enter so they turned green. The only box that is not green is the "Body Name" which is grey and I can not enter information or select it.

Can anyone help?

Ok I did not select an economy for the 2nd economy so no save button. I did not think to enter one as it was not in red. Maybe change it to red so it fits in with the others and indicates something must be selected even if it needs to be "none".

So, is the transfer working, all databases verified and okay? Want to make sure, the transfer succeed.
Perhaps you can make a screenshot of the launcher's database window.
Most, if not all, reported issues got fixed in the next release.

Hi Eventure

Yes the transfer worked and I was so happy that it did (did not verify db) I did a quick 15 min play so went to one system and add a new station which went fine then on to another system and added new stations got a problem had time to get pic but not the report as I had to leave for work.

Now have updated to v1.4.0.8 transferred old db again then verified it but get an error for market prices (pic)

ask tcm to repair then get a message "cannot repair prices use default prices" press yes tcm does it's repair but I still get the same error.

Will run ED for a while and see what problems I get.

Yes, if TCE is detecting, that you are at a planet with a registered installation, the Minimap panel show up. If you leave the planet by supercruise or FSD, the Minimap got hidden.

Ok I did not select an economy for the 2nd economy so no save button. I did not think to enter one as it was not in red. Maybe change it to red so it fits in with the others and indicates something must be selected even if it needs to be "none".

There should display a SELECT button at the second economy. Did it not display, or you want to see it in red?

There is no way to add already scanned bodies and star's manually at the moment. It's normally too much data to fill in by hand. Like to see Frontier change scanning in that way, we can repeat it, as we like.

Would be nice to send me your database folder with the error. Will check what is the problem.

I have sent you two db the old v1.3.9 and v1.4.0.8 to look at and I think it's to do with the stations.

Yes there is a select drop down. Just I did not realise it was required to select something. Changing it to red if nothing has been selected would mean it follows how the other boxes work that are required items. Just my thoughts though. Leave as is if you feel that is better.

Some reports came in, that sometimes an already registered market is shown by TCE as unregistered like "Click to add market" flashing.

If this happens, please modify the appropriate market, select "Actual Coords" and save it.
Is TCE now detecting the market as registered?
If not, is after a restart of TCE the market detected as registered?
If again no succees, I would require the database and the location name (star system and market).

Hi Eventure,

I don't know if this has cropped up as a problem before but when I add a new market I get an error message :-

"Error while inserting record on table Markets SQL logic error or missing database no such table public_markets
