Message from scanning

**** Comprimised Signal Detected

Matches signal detected at listening posts (col 285 sector my-O b7-2, Col 285 Sector gn-h b11-0)

Approxmiate Signal Range 32-34LY

..... Cant get away with this ..... a 5 ..... buried alive

Message Corrupted

Not sure what it is guys but im off to the 2x sectors mentioned to look for additional listening posts

Lisening post in col 285 sector my-O b7-2

Updated message

Comprimised signal detected

Matches signal detected at listening posts (col 285 sector gn-h b-11-0, pic tok)

Approx signal range 54-57ly

.... can't get away with this ..... long -31.389378 ..... buried alive

Beacon Signal Lost

(im expecting latitude at the final one) and then a system in the middle of the tirangle - would anyone care to triangulate for me.

I've updated the frontPage with these new messages... go on ;)

All 3 are now out im looking for a system in the middle of the triangle that is distancs from each of those systems and approx signal range with a 5a planet with the lat and long

How much landable planets in col 285 sector gn-h b-11-0?

In space listening posts, 5a Long and lat are the combination of all 3 listening posts a system is in the middle yet to arrive moving towards a cluster in the middle

Jumped into one nearby and crashing upon loading ( possible bug) so cant load atm, ill advise when i get back in

i was following a hunch to check low pop terraforming colonies aroudn the edge of the human bubble and stumbled upon the original in pic tok

It could be totally unrelated but it isnt a tourist beacon and its new since 2.2 so well worth ruling out

As luck would have it the game is locking up and being a real pain right atm

HR 1046 is i think my current target or there abouts

This may have been posted already, apologies if so

I've noticed that the (no idea what to call them) pillars? (not obelisks or beacons) have a marking very similar to the overall shape of the alien ruin site, but it's rotated 90 degrees

And again but flipped the other way

May be something, probably isn't!

Just something I noticed

the system in the listening posts is or is very close to:
hyades sector dr-v c2-23

jumping into it now

the listening posts were in the first 3 systems ( inspace spot) the triangulation of the information should be a landable and a5 is a landable

There is no 5a so it is probably a5 inputted backwards going in for a look now

a5
lat 44.818
long -31.389

Really well captured Cmdr ! +rep

I have visited the site twice, but rather unsuccessfuly, mainly due to SRV fuel bugs, and/or wrong time. I was going to try and capture a HQ definition image, like you have managed to do. Regarding the thin line structures in grid (e.g. bottom centre, within the hexagon), what are they? Raised channels?

I had a bigger version 7000 x 2000, but it would have broken the forum :D
Those lines you mention look like the remains of buildings or walls. A lot of the markings look like the result of pressure, whilst others look like weathered remains.

Clearly very very old.

Hi is there an easy way to triangulate the listening post data other that via galmap and jumping and testing?

Not all systems are on EDDB.
