Hi, Im new to this Forum but i must say im impressed at the speed you guys are solving these puzzles/ ciphers and how you all work together. I was thinking about the string you decrypted last night the " Doom Follows " phrase. Do you think It means that Doom will actually follow or could it be another clue, Ie reference to the game series Doom with it being set on Mars. Its probably nothing but couldnt help but think that with all the other cryptic clues FD have given us.

Moving along, en route to third crash site, from there ill begin a search out towards the witchhead nebula for additional poitns of interest / additional listenign posts, small step out of the bubble, a bigger leap to deep space and then boom doom, ill find those rumoured thargoid flying ships and their insect men yet

Seems like a solid plan man :) Good luck. Omw to Pleiades region, where I'll stay for a bit more and then probably coming that way myself too :)

Or what "looks" like a star. Fly into it and see. Lemme know what happens.

JK

Just seems like too much of a clue to be a dead end. Hmmm.

Frontier has stated there a reason it points to the system and may be to the star, we just haven't been able to discover that reason, at least not yet!

yes there are a lot of hidden landmines i havent been aware of, i guess if i looked at the what can and cant post section it would probably run into 10-15 pages and some rules and regs might contradict others, i think the taruas dark region may play a role going forward as well as the "stuff" moves outwards

I went to the site on Synuefe jb-g b58-6 6H.

Here are the screen shots from the message

I have the impression Perry was the SRV found on crash site two

So assuming perry has gotten around multiple sites if he is now no longer with us, it would be nice to find his final resting place perhaps as a additional part of the story

There just one simply rule here

No looking at any games files and posting what you find in thiem on this thread. There no sub clauses, no exceptions, no loopholes.

HIP 17403, anyone notice planet a1 and a4 on system map are black, and u cant lock them from in space, u have to go onto the system map and lock them from there, a bit odd

actually and they always show as unexplored in space when youve scanned them

Morning commanders,

I logged off last night with CMDR iamgingerbear having recorded the "small steps giant leap doom follows" beacon, and I wake up to find yet again, the community pulls the impossible and much science has been discovered.

o7 to all concerned

That sounds like a known system map bug. I have a few systems around California nebula that are like that. I think it surfaced around 2.0. Had you partly scanned this system some time ago?

Rest of the system scans fine, to lock it in space i have to lock it on the system map, and on the system map its blacked out ( not previously scanned either) in the left hand nav panel for the a sun bodies there are 4 out of the main 6 planets selectible, the a1 , a4 and a4 moon are affected

Similair to the UPs im now flying under 0.1 ls from planet 1 to see if any signal sources spawn just to check that side of things

So far only a distress call threat 2 with a type 6 under attack from 4 cobras nothing out of the ordinary

If this is the beta site on im the lookout for those aforementioned UP carrying python convoys

someone should visit the b star, check the asteroid belt and the 1st landable i think to see if anything is out of the ordinary there as well

Sorry, but nuts. Clear Sector 26 at this lovely Planet (watch log 4/5 again).
35 Kelvin !!! One of the nicest camping grounds a CMDR can imagine .....

There is something at this Planet.
Canonn: go for it!

Edit:
After reading it again: If you mean Alien ship has "collected" Perry's SRV there (according log 5/5) that would be a good theory worth a extra biscuit.
But his first feedback stays also (log 4/5)...
