I just bought my first Vulture...

...And I totally understand this meme. (I did before, sort of, just from my experience with the Cobra)

It's like sitting in front of a wall of glass! Amazing. I can't wait to see the next level :D

What Elite nails is how big these cockpits are on the big fishes, and how small they are in a fighter. Absolutely stunning in VR.

Working my way through new content - got to say, the imperial fighter is my new favourite cockpit - absolutely gorgeous - cant stop looking out of the window at my reverse thrusters..

LOL, thx mp4x I needed a laugh today. This is exactly how I felt and it's why I sold my Vulture. I'm more fond of the smaller cockpits.

I love both of these cockpits in VR. Try the Imperial Courier. That is amazing as well.

That's actually the ship I want. How did you go about getting one? You need to reach a certain rank within the Empire right?

Looking behind me to see ship interiors has been one of the coolest points of VR for me. The attention to detail for something a small quantity of players will see is nuts. Actually want to buy every ship just so I can look behind me and see what's going on.

I'm looking forward to trying them all, in VR, and I think the credits for my next ship will come a little quicker now. I keep all my ships as I go, but I got 10mil together relatively quick, using the Cobra+ViperIII, so that I could get this Vulture and some upgrades. I feel happy to just fly this ship for a while and take my time, honestly, It's that sense of scale and how BIG it feels - awesome.

It's my new goal, I think, to get better ships just so I can view the cockpit from the inside :)

I had this conversation just the other night while on a stream - Checking out what's behind, under, stuck to you chair, vents on the floor, general details and moving about in the cockpit you feel like you're seeing things few people do. It's very cool

"You must spread some reputation around before..."

I was actually suprised how small the cockpit was on the corvette when I got VR.

And then I turned around.
Can best description.
Battle bridge.

Vulture is definitely best vr cockpits in the game.
Courier is great too but in a different way.

I love the utilitarian feel to the vulture - tool boxes, neat and compact. Shame I hate the ship handling...

The iCourier just screams "I have you in my sights now". Bad boy of a ship to fly.

iClipper is glorious, iCutter is glorious, FDL was admittedly the only underwhelming interior overall...just impressed at the uniqueness of them all.

Vulture VR pilot here also. totally fallen in love with the ship in vr. You might get a kick out of this video I made after last weekend in my new vulture :)

If you can, see if you can clip through the walls or floors of your cockpit. It's amazing just how much of our ships interior space (at least the smaller ships) are already present in the game. Unfortunately, there are huge sections of our ships still not present, but I'm already getting a good sense of my Cobra's interior layout.

Yeah!

It is proper exciting viewing the cockpit in VR for the first time.

If you haven't done this already, grab a sidewinder with SRV. Land on a planet at dusk or dawn and bum about. The sidey looks amazing. Small and insignificant but THERE

:)
