Since breaking missions wasn't enough, you also managed to break passenger missions. Chapeau! ;)

EDIT 3
OK, I've seen several reports of high paying passenger missions, both short and long range. Looks like much ado about nothing.
Nothing to see here, move along.

EDIT 2
Got to Sol: Bulk missions go to +-1.5 million for a one-jump trip for one filled cabin (allied/elite). That means I can fill-up my Beluga for about 10 million in 1-jump missions, many to the same system or even station. In short this should be about ~8-30 million credits per hour, doing bulk passengers, depending if you mission log or not and such. Honestly, seems fine to me.
Pathfinder/cordial/Sag A*: 26 million
Pioneer/friendly/6k LY: 19 million
Scout/friendly/18k LY: 28 million
Pathfinder/Friendly, 1k LY: 1 million
Pathfinder/Allied, 21k: 7.5 million
Scout/Allied, 6k LY, 4.1 million
Scout/Cordial/Sag A*: 6 million

Doesn't sound too bad.

EDIT
To be fair:
This balance is part of an on-going process and we will continue to make changes as required.

Also there are still high paying missions, it just seems to be a little bit extreme in some cases.

TBH that's the level of reward all low level missions should give. Frontier messed rewards to be way too high after 1.1~1.2.

I'm really considering they just wants to force the players leave the game with this April's Fools themed "fixes" and why nerf LRP missions in the first place, Hauling missions doesn't look good either.

OK, whoever voted for looks sounds great...

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you vote for the other option now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will explain to you why you are wrong.

Not voted yet. Rewards depend too much on local rep, and you took a mission with very low rep. On my way to Sol now, will report how things look over there (got some pretty good rep there).

"Balancing Mission Rewards

Hey everyone,

Just a quick post to let you know that we've made a few balancing tweaks this morning with regards to missions in the game. Many mission rewards have been increased, while passenger mission rewards are slightly decreased to create a better overall balance across the board. This balance is part of an on-going process and we will continue to make changes as required.

Additionally, we've fixed an issue whereby passenger missions will now award points toward the correct Elite rank. "

Hey there's a whole 4 Bromellite on offer here , the 352 credits is just icing on the cake :p

Average price of 7,062Cr/t.

Gives us a nice round figure of 28,600 for the mission.

62Ly one way with the very likely possibility of ship destruction? For that? And people think this is too much?

Yes, that's the link I've posted in OP. The screenshot is from this thread, created after the so called fix.

Your post amused me so I voted 'sounds great' just for giggles. Sorry, just had to do it.

Oh you mean when the meta was go to RES, and farm bounties instead?
Then again, the missions although low paying actually increased your ranking to unlock navy promos.

Just popped into a couple of stations I'm neutral with, and the short haulage missions all paid 10k - 100k, the short range passenger missions were 17k - 500k, and the long range ones (1000ly+) were 1m - 26m. Now I can see people sulking at being asked to fly 1000ly for 1m cr, but all the others look fine, IMHO.
