We have the best game, don't we folks? It's the best. Wonderful. Absolutely brilliant. Not like crooked Star Citizen though. Not at all.
 
Long post, has taken some time to read but it's GREAT SUGGESTIONS are in it.

Espacially the slider option for delivery / mining or combat missions i like the most.
"Hey Pilots, we have a mission for hauling food, do you wanna do it? Tell us how much you can carry and i'll tell you how much we can pay"

Proper crime rep system is all I want at the moment!
 
Love the scanner and mission suggestions (I'd even go further with the missions, many things need a rework. I'm tired of bounty hunting basically being never ending indiscriminately blowing up every ship that isn't a miner that happens to pass by my cross hair in a RES).

I get that some like that grind approach but my imagination is only going to go so deep. Missions and roles really need a little more depth to them. Wings need bringing into the fold as well.

LOVE the scanner ideas though. and like the idea of missions working on a scale.

missions in their current state are near useless. Currently it seems like the only reason you'd do missions is to grind out rank with a superpower, or perhaps you found a rare system where the missions actually pay decently. So how can this change? Simple.

While I agree with many things in your post, two things:

1) Missions in their current state are bugged, and will be fixed in a number of days. Its pointless to criticise how they work atm, as they are not supposed to be like this anyway.
2) I dont think your idea of 'simple' is really accurate. It may be easy to type out of an afternoon, its not easy to put that into a large game.

Beyond that, some cool ideas. Thanks for sharing these thoughts!

I prefer building space wall and making aliens pay for it but thats just me...

Ha! We may not leave much of a planet to future generations, but at least they'll have all the memes they'll ever need. :D
 
very great ideas! just a little addition to the upgrading and building of stations. at first both should be really ressource expansive. there is a reason why there are no stations at sag a* or beagle point this reason should be kept although very stuborn player guilds should of course be able to build it would just be very hard. fdev should also be able to forbid building of some stations so it will stay in bubbles and a trip to sag a would still be a challenge and not a trip from statio to station which could happen soon if players are allowed to build stations. the player who builds the station should be able to determine the kind of station and with it the kind of missions offered and the overall look (high tech can't be choosen but has to be earned with expensive upgrades). the upgrades of stations would also be really expensive in ressources that have to be gathered at the station. if the upgrade is started every player in the guild/faction gets a message like "hey listen! your boss decided to upgrade station xxxxx in star system yyyyyy go there and bring some steel with you" the station would then also offer missions corresponding to it (bring steel, donate money, mine bauxite and so on) maybe even stations around would offer missions to bring passengers like engineers or workers there.

another thought about the build bank. maybe it should be more like powerplay but more convinient and player dependent... maybe players should be offered a weekly income for being in the guild and a special bonus for doing guild missions (like defending an outpost or delivering steel to a upgrading station) these are dependent on the rank of the player. you won't loose your rank like in powerplay but the guildmaster can "demote" you (balancing issue?). because, to make it more intresting i would give the guildmaster (who owns the guildbank) the ability to decide how much the income on every rank should be and how great your money bonus should be to add some kind of rivaling around members like real working market. he can also see when you last played and when you last activity for the guild was so he can demote someone who once was very active in the guild but is now just ing around and getting the income. you also would just get your income if you logged in in that week and maybe played an hour or so to prevent offline farming (maybe this should also be a decision by the guildmaster.

I'm very open to criticism on this ideas because they just came to my mind :D

I will return to this game when something from this list gets implemented in some way. Now I have conda+fdl and zero incentive to play.

I like most of this and some could need some tweaks...no one and less us can make a game and let alone think in all the little details. To be honest all of those features you said would need a massive game reestructure..not saying that some of those can't be implemented with the current system though.

This game is still evolving, we have to wait and see if they implement a couple of more "core things" into it, so then they may add those others really cool things like a proper "end game" (which actually will never end unless Thargoids decides to wipe out humanity all around or whatever alien race comes) and perhaps something close to owned settlements/bases/stations crafted by us through more...grinding, ugh. (but with a proper purpose in this case)

For a base or station in a planet or in the middle of space, I would want "space legs"...building something just "for the looks" is not my thing, for example. (take the example of bases created by players in Warframe, aside from collecting materials for crafting there is no other purpose, they look cool but that is where ends and it takes a lot of time to make one)

Frontier should have plans for all these things in a way or another...wait till next season and then we could probably guess (I rather let them tell us for once...) what is going to come...or what could be possible to be done.
 
1. Rework Group/Private/Solo mode. The best option is Open and PvE mode, without possibility to switch (or with very long timeout) and shared galaxy.
2. Disable relogo.
3. Rework crime and punish system to make ganking pointless.
4. Add at least 100 ships.
5. Add cooperative content.
