Any expectation of being able to recline avatar's seat/position to match our physical seat/position?

I've had some demo experiences in VR and plan to eventually switch to it, but my "battlestation" will be a significantly more reclined chair than the elite cockpit chairs in their upright position. Has anyone heard if there are any plans to make the virtual cockpit chair (or avatar position) adjustable so that the avatar body can approximate our real-body's physical position?

(I find that when there is a big different in chair reclination, the avatar feels like background scenery and I lose the sense of having a body)

If it is in the wrong position, put your face where it should be and hit the view reset (Usually F10).

Sorted.

I think you misunderstand. My face can be correctly located in the game, but when the real-world chair has a different level of recline (maybe imagine the extreme recline in a Formula One cockpit for example :D ) and the virtual-chair is fully upright instead of similarly reclined, then the virtual body is not where it should be, even when its head and my head line up correctly.

The undesirable solution is to swap my preferred real-world chair for a worse chair that better approximates the virtual-chair's posture, but I'm hopeful that someday we'll have the better option of being able to adjust the virtual chair to approximate our real-world chairs. I was wondering if anyone had heard any hint or suggestion of this?

( Yeah I know it's not a high priority issue, but it matters to me :) )

To be honest I don't think I'd heard this idea suggested - its a fair thought, along with having the avatar's head move with the HMD tracking (as it does in Eve: Valkyrie, which is great).

Seat-recline would be a nice touch, but I don't think this will even be on FD's radar right now. I'm a little more reclined than the pilot avatar, but not by much, so I don't feel any sort of 'disconnect'.

Anyway stop perving at your avatar - look out the windows! :D
