Horizons !HELP! I'm in the SRV at Black Hide, can't find way back to ship

The title pretty much says it, I landed at Black Hide (Wyrd, the crater) and while on the pad I exited to SRV. Came out of this garage kind of place, it's dark here, and even if I went back to the garage I never seen the "board ship" light there. Can't even find my way back there. No "call ship back" button. Can't find my way to the proper place. No green spot for my ship, just for Black Hide compound, and it's a huge stadium thing with no ramp into it. Can anybody help? I am playing solo presently.

What Nereus said.

Or, you can drive away from the facility for a few KMs then recall ship.
I'm not sure how far you need to drive....try 5km to start.

Well I tried the 'go back to the green marker' idea, after "request docking," and there was a green rectangle that shows up - dozens of meters high - probably at my ship. Can't get there from here. I have tried driving across one of those bridges, there is impediments and can't make it.

So I will try to get 5Km away. It is very difficult to get far here as the terrain is extremely rugged, and there are impassible ridges (impassible if you don't go hundreds of meter around, and I can't see far to see the way). It takes a very long time to find flat ground landable area.

TY Clicker, that worked, from 4.5Km. In ship now. Terrain very rugged, fixed SRV once, then down to 48% again. Kept taking damage as much of the terrain is about 45 degrees from level, and like I said it is dark (have full beam lights on).

Sometimes if an instance bugs out, switching modes might get things working again. I've had issues where I've had to do that before.

This would be a last resort, but should work if your not able to get to your ship or find it. Destroy the SRV, that will automatically put you back in your ship. I believe you will have to buy another SRV, but I've done it before on a planet where I just couldn't get to my ship due to the steep sides of the terrain and the ship wouldn't land below where I was located. But again, this is a last resort option. Hopefully you will be able to get it once your further out from the station. Good Luck Cmdr!

well I did have some fun in the buggy.
But I have acquired 1100 fine in "the dweller." There is no contacts button in Black Hide, and the other stations say other minor factions. So where do I pay the fine???
There is only the commodities button, and the normal ones on the right. I tried the engineer interface, but no other buttons popped up for it.

EDIT: even after logging out/in.

You can pay the fine in any other station in the same system.

There is also a slightly gamey back door if you get really stuck. Log all the way out and launch 1.6 (non-horizons)... so long as you aren't in a Beluga (which might get really weird) you should appear in orbit around the planet as the non-horizons client can't place you on the surface.

Simple but genius.

TY, confirmed, paid the fine at the nearest orbital starport.

This issue turned a one-hour joy ride experiment into a 4-hour one for me. I was hoping to be on my way to trying more other things by now.

Thanks to everyone who responded (repped).

It's weird but after you request docking from your SRV, you actually have to drive into a small hangar under your ship. Once in there, you can then board the ship from the menu as usual. You're not the first to be confused by this, I sure was.

Yeah, I've done this bfr. The problem was, there was no hanger below my ship (and my ship was 50 meters above me).
