Engineers Can I buy 5A and 4A FSDs in Felicity's station?

Just that really: Can I buy 5A and 4A FSDs in Felicity's station?

I am thinking of taking my already modded AspX and T6 and re-doing the g5 FSD - my thoughts were to buy new FSD there, storing the currently modded one and transferring that later.

Anybody know if that is viable and if so can the same be done with power plants?

I don't think so. AFAIK the only modules you can "buy" from engineers are the default modules in mandatory slots. I'd just buy one or more FSDs elsewhere and transfer them over.

no, depends on tech level of system/ engineer base. some have surprisingly good outfitting at their base.

I was just there this morning and wanted to do exactly the same thing. You can buy 5B and 3A, but not 5As or 4As. Other ports in Deciat do sell them though so it's not so bad.

If the engineers had half a brain they would take their most successful upgrades and sell them at nearby markets to turn a tidy profit.

Fit, then store the unmodded modules at any nearby station with appropriate outfitting...fly to Felicity and transfer - DUH!

Yeah, thanks for the posts but I already know about transferring modules and I knew how to find any module I need by using the EDDB website - I just didn't know that Felicity's station was included in EDDB.

I always locate a nearby station that sells the module I want to upgrade and then buy and store a few of them there. When I arrive at the Engineer base, I go into Outfitting and TRANSFER those stored modules from the source station and over to the Engineer base. If you bought them close by, the transfer will take less than 10 minutes and cost hardly anything.

Now you have multiples to work with, so if you get a really good roll, but would like to see if you can do better, store that upgrade and swap in a stock version from your collection. :)
