Just had a 'Dust Up' with another Cmdr

Going back into Shinrarta in my passenger/Cargo/Mission Python, when i get interdicted by a Cmdr driven Vette.

No i have some Weapons on here, but just for pesky NPC's, I have a Pris Shield and a few Booster.....So not fancying a fight at all i submit and Boost. He opens fire immediately but I see I have a speed advantage so i don't high wake as i need to return my passengers to Shin.

I get beyond 4 kicks and send him a txt, nothing inflammatory, just Bye Bye, his next volly to me is a tirade of verbal abuse cause i won't fight him, really, the Mods would have had a field day with this one. He dissapears and i stay in space to let the shields come back up, and jump back to my journey to Shin, yes he's there and does me again, same thing happens, i boost get 4k away and this time his txt to me is asking why i won't fight him, so i explain my ship loadout, my role play currently, but he then opens up the verbal abuse again calling me a Griefer for not fighting him.

This goes on for 2 more goes, and i am determined not to go to solo and to get to Shin in open, so i persevere and make it after 5 interdiction's.

I am not complaining, not moaning, and certainly won't want to name and shame even if i could, but i just can't understand the mentality of some players...Oh well! off again in my Python to do some more missions, wonder if I will meet him/her again?

Just wanted to share my evening so far in Game!

Sounds so very familiar. Shinrarta is now the home to many sad tossers.

The one that finally prompted me to move the fleet was a guy in an iCourier. Interdicted my very functional Anaconda, I took a couple of rings off his shields then back into SC. Then he interdicted me again, so I wasted him in a matter of seconds.

By now, due to not having scanned him initially, I was wanted. So I was silent running into Jameson, when who should open fire from outside but the same inept moron. Did a little bit of hull damage, but not much else. So depressingly puerile, and totally incompetent. Just like the rest of them.

Reminds me of George Carlin and his bit about rubber stick-em dart guns.

Every driver should get issued a rubber stick-em dart gun with orange flags on them. Every time someone cuts you off, you reach out your window and shoot the side of their car with a dart.

Then when the cops see a guy going down the road with fifty orange darts on the side of their car, they pull them over and give em a ticket for being an *******.

That's the second or third time I've heard reports of CMDRs being verbally abused for "griefing" by refusing to fight. Gee, it's almost as if this is a thing done by a group of some kind. Do you know any groups that would behave in this way? I sure don't...

Please tell me you replied "Meep meep!" as you hit the boost button.

Yes. They are the group of remedial learners. The brain cells are so few they need to huddle together for warmth.

Some idiot in a Cutter tried to interdict my racing IEagle as I was going to upgrade the thrusters from DD3 to DD5. I was off his scanner before he stopped spinning.

Really, that's all I can say... well, I'd have probably said something more had I been you.. maybe something along the lines of "I won't fight you because it's beneath me." but that's me and I'm sassy like that.

But griefing? Really? Clearly this just does not understand the meaning of the word.

Kind of reminds me of that one kid, from middle school - you know, the one who wasn't good at anything on the playground, who'd throw himself on the ground and kick and cry because no one would pick him until the teacher came over and made someone take him on their team - and then that team lost because he was there. I bet it's the same kid.

Finally we are telling the truth about these tossers. They are so unbelievably thick, it's astounding. I feel slightly liberated.
