I can't make up my mind!
It was once my dream to fly an Anaconda outfitted for PvE (combat included) - I've currently got a "tradeconda" only. My best all-rounder ship thus far is an engineered Python. Things in front of it melt, it has some cargo (for lighter trading), SRV docking bay for exploration... The jump range is rather small however, and no sexy fighter bay.
But then the sexy Imperial Cutter comes along, and I'm torn. Yes, it's bloody expensive. Yes, it requires rank (which I'm currently grinding, and it BOOOORRRIIIING). But... but... the sexiness!
Anyway, I'm looking for opinions on the two ships, for PvE. I'm guessing both ships can become near unstoppable PvE combat beasts with some engineer resistance mods on shields and shield boosters. But I've no idea how they fly (well, the Ana feels sluggish, but again, it's a trade ship at the moment). I'm also guessing both ships require turrets to put pressure on smaller targets?
I'm leaning towards the Cutter, on sexiness alone, but the price is scary.
