Engineers Ram Tah, Lightweight Secondary Effects Bugged?

Today I went to Ram Tah to get an extra Heat Sink for my Anaconda. While there, I figured I might as well play around with the Lightweight Mod for the Point Defense as well. They don't weigh much and won't mean squat for my Anaconda, but since it's available why not do it?

I did 10 rolls total, and out of those 10/10 gave me +1% mass as a secondary effect. 8/10 gave me +1% Integrity, and the last two gave me 3% and 4% Integrity respectively. Now, when the listing says "This mod has extremely good secondary effects" or something along those lines, I expect the secondary effects to mainly be good for the mod I am doing. I do not expect the secondary effects to always have a negative effect on the main reason for the mod. This to me is weird, and I am wondering if this is bugged, or if I was just extremely unlucky [wacky]

Has anyone else tried this? If so, what were your secondary effects? I don't want to write a bug report for this if it's just me, but I am very close to doing so :D

Erm not point defence but went to him recently for heat sink launchers, 3x collector controller and prospector controller. It seemed to me that every time, the secondary effect went up 1% for mass and down 1% for integrity. I didnt think anything of it really but it might be a bug i suppose. I thought the overall results were pretty good as i saved about 70t in weight overall, but im not sure how much lightweight mining equipment is going to change my life!

Yeah saw the same with always -1 integrity if the bonus is +1 mass. Not sure if this is a bug or simply shows us just how rigged the RNG is. With the lightweight PD there's only the two key variables and few (none?) secondary. So it's likely we see the fixed parameters quickly since there's so few to change.

Engineer's RNG is truly rigged as in coded to not give favorable odds, and hope folks understand this! The rolls are not truly random as Sandro has admitted when he referred to making the math odds slightly better at one point after the initial release when folks complained. You see similar 'fixed' behavior in other rolls where the bonus gives you +xx then the negative is always -xx, and they're the exact same numbers and they come up again and again. If this was truly RNG then these coincidences wouldn't likely be seen ever.

I just noticed that I wrote it wrong in the OP. It should be +1% mass on every roll, and I've corrected it. That's what I think strange.
I don't mind if there is a correllation between the positive and negatives, ie. you get a very positive secondary but it's offset by a very bad other secondary. I do however mind that when I am trying to make something lightweight, it always adds 1% of mass as a secondary. There's something wrong with that, which was my point.

But, did you see a +1% mass on every roll? That's what I did, and what I am wondering if is bugged.

@arguendo... yes i got what you meant. It is wierd that the secondary is always 1% more mass when you are wanting a lightweight mod. I dont really want to get more integrity
