It would be nice if someone within FD could make discrete enquiries about the authentication server. Maybe it just needs a reboot.

On one hand i can understand them being quit if it's an update and they kinda want it to be a surprise.
On the other hand this is quite noticable if they want to keep it secret and without any word from them that this is not comming from someone outside Frontier it's also worrying. They could at least post if this is them doing this for a particular reason or because of network problems.

Apparently they don't interact with PB members, only the alpha backers on the DDF. As i read in another thread.

It could be a pre-patch for the next phase as I had to log in first and then install, and I wonder if the servers are down for the server side patch first.

Oh well we'll find out soon enough as we have been promised an update on when the next phase would be happening this week.

Yeah, I REALLY hope it's not an update to say the update is a month away! :(

There isn't a new update today, there have been a few tweaks to the back end that appear to have a few knock-on effects for some people. We'll announce later this week details for the Premium Beta 2 update.

Interaction is something quite different from posting an announcement.
Interaction means there's a two way communcation setup whereas an announcement is one sided.

I've had the install option on the launcher, installed that and straight away get the install option again. Looks broken to me.

then saw this on the beta thread

"We're looking into the install prompt, that shouldn't be happening.
