Ebook formats of Design Discussion archives

Glad we got that figured out and thanks for letting me know. This is the first time I have used drop box in a forum to list files to download.

Thanks for doing this, it's much more convenient this way.

Oh, and the USB-Kindle method seems to work perfectly, I've only just started but it's opened and seems to be fine.

I got the epub and it looks very nice, with the cover picture there too. Checked it in Callibre. Contents are nice.

Forward? Or Forword? Eh?

Formatting seems good. Very handy! Thanks mucho for the work.

Using Sony PRS-2 TN here if that matters.

Would be nice if we could convince the OP to do an updated version... ;)

I would, but you know how it is - schedule conflict.

I can make a PDF of it again but it didn't look that great to me in the past. This one is optimized as much as (was easily) possible for mobile devices. The epub and mobi formats seem to flow better on mobile devices.

Thanks Variform! It should be Foreword.

e-book formats are designed to work on different 'page' sizes whereas PDF have kinda adapted a bit but not really their strong suit.

Fantastic work there +1 from me.

Very nice, have some rep!

FYI, the epub's working just fine through calibre on a kobo aura.

Yeah, it's quite ironic that the Portable Document Format is not that portable. ;)

This is brilliant!

I use an app on iphone called voicedream so now i can listen to the ddfs smoothly and easily.

Thank you!

I like going over the posts of the Design Discussion archives but I wanted to also read it offline. To this end, I exported the first posts in the Design Discussion archives into the epub and mobi formats. The epub format works in Apple's iBook software and the mobi format is for Kindle devices and Kindle software.

This content is from the publicly available archives of the Design Discussion. It does not contain ongoing discussions from the private Design Discussions Forum (DDF). It is also only the first post and does not include any comments.

Updated June 19th, 2014 with vouchers, fuel, wingmen, automated docking and salvage.

Pretty cool. Personally I will probably read as little DDF as possible. I do want some of this stuff to be a surprise when I get my hands on the game. I feel I already know too much, which makes the waiting harder.

Updated July 31, 2014 with latest Fuel changes and a bunch of reorganized sections. If you have a copy from June with bookmarks and notes, there is not really enough new content to justify updating...

Contains all of the first posts in the Design Discussion Archive.
