Can you suggest a good, comfy left-handed flikght stick?

Basically, I'm thinking about ditching the keyboard.
I've seen a couple of dual-stick set ups which look fun, but am struggling to find a decent left-handed flight-stick. Do they even make them?
Anyone tried this setup? Does it work well?

Alternatively, I'd happily get a throttle separately, but they seem almost as much as a full stick and throttle! No idea why!
Anyone know of a good one to get?
(I currently have a Logitech Exterme 3D Pro - which I really like, tbh. Has always worked flawlessly for me)

How reversible? The picture doesn't seem to say.
As in, the "protruding" bits on the stick can be switched to the opposite side to fit a left hand?

Indeed - the stick is supplied with LH and RH removable protruding bits.

Yes, exactly that. I hasten to add that I don't own one but it's been designed to be useable by both right and left handed players alike.

If I remember correctly it comes with two thumb rests and if you're a lefty you can swap it over. The layout is completely ambidextrous. It's a really good stick.

Joking aside if you do decide to go for it I would order straight away as even the mighty amazon have been having stock issues and it's hard to find elsewhere.

Hmmm - yeah I was thinking about it, but I have the typical shortage of cash at the moment due to Xmas shopping approaching (so I might wait until the January sales I reckon).

I used to use my old Logitech Extreme 3D Pro left-handed (right-hand mouse) for Battlefield, did that for years and it was comfortable. Has Z-axis, throttle control and inexpensive, too.

I find that on most joysticks they put loads of buttons on the base, utterly uselessly!

I need ALL THE BUTTONS, and at my fingertips!

I just got a T1600, I'm afraid my opinion of it is crap. I'm a lefty and that stick is ambi, like the others said, but that's where the goodness ends with me...

#1 I have big hands, so when I grip the flightstick for 30min-hr, my hand aches because the grip is too small in diameter. Never had the problem with my CH flightstick.
#2 The JOY-2 button (the middle on the stick ner the top hat) is designed in such a way that the web between my index finger and thumb hits it when I'm reaching for the tophat or other buttons on the side.
#3 JOY-2 button sticks down against the joystick body after less than a month of using it.
That causes all kinds of havoc in any sensitive situation like combat. All kinds of screens pop up as I'm trying to turn/yaw/tophat...you get the pic.

Now I have to look into warranty repair and I doubt it will be worth the postage to send it back. If that fails, I may disassemble it and see if I can fit a stiffer spring under JOY-2 just so I can keep playing the game. As far as hall effect accuracy, I don't think it matters in ED...At least I haven't experienced any noticeable difference.

I am using the Mad Catz V.1 for my left joystick. It's ambidextrous rather than left handed but it has loads of buttons accessible using the thumb without removing your hand from the stick. Quite cheap too.

The Thrustmaster T16000M is the only one I know you can refit for Left-Hand use.
Or others are either right handed or 'unisex' and suffer from ergonomics somewhere.

The Thrustmaster is a precise stick with very good haptics. After two years of Elite the zero spot
isn't found always when leaving the stick alone. But beside this I am a very happy user.

All I can wish from Thrustmaster to give us a convertible Throttle as well. I would really like to use it
but right hand flying as a left handed does not work for me.

Wouldn't fly without the logitech Attack 3, unfortunately they are no longer being built. You can still buy them cheap on ebay, I got a bunch of them as backup recently.

Have thousands of pounds worth of kit/pedals/throttles/sticks etc... For precision FA-OFF flying I haven't found anything else that comes close, cost around 15 quid on ebay.

This company also makes great throttles (Airliner replicas) A little pricey but the build is good, obviously designed for left and right hand use. I know a guy in New York that also does budget build replica throttles, I distributed a few to training centers for him.
