Engineers Is it possible to use a blueprint multiple times for diferent ships?

A stupid question maybe, but i haven't done anything yet with the engineers. When you have at last played free a level 5 blueprint, can you use it multiple times or do you have to go all over collecting the needs for another blue print?

Each and every time you want to upgrade your ship / modules you must have the appropriate resources required.

The blueprint becomes yours, the materials for the upgrades need to be gathered for each ship. There are some convenient shortcuts however

you can swap modules from ship to ship via storage

Once you've unlocked a 'level' with an Engineer you can try for modifications at any level up to that point. So at level 5 you can use all the blueprints from 1-5.
Each time you buy a modification for one of your modules you will need to provide the required materials/commodities for that specific mod.
