Two Earth-likes for you

First, the one I found earlier next to a Neutron star (this time with the real system name):

Next, the only Ringed Earth-like I've found (so far):

Enjoy :)

Oh, so the second one is not just ringed, but also a moon of a dwarf star? That makes it much more rare. Right on, Commander!

Ok so this is pretty crazy.
This CMDR found his (hers) first ELW orbiting a Neutron.
Then the second was a Ringed And A MOON... AND a shared orbit!!!
What an awesome start is that?

I've found 2 that were ringed.
I've found 4 orbiting a neutron.
I've found 1 with a nice shared orbit (with a M & T star)
Out of 87 total (and out over a year)
I've even found one orbiting a T-Tauri star. but that is an impressive start.

[woah][woah]:O:O

Sadly not, but I have absolutely no objection to high-tailing it back there. I have no specific destination currently and I'd be interested to see how long it took me. Not sure how far away I am though...

[Edit: 7,800Ly away. I've altered course and have started back, but RL will be getting in the way so I may not make it any time soon as I'm about to be away for a week]

What sort of screenshots would you be after?

On my way to SagA* I found two ELWs in orbit around each other, my second best find. My first best is two balck holes orbiting each other, about 100ls or so apart ... and you could, through the lensing effect, see them moving! They, in turn were orbited by a white dwarf being in orbit with a neutron star. An amazing system, which goes to prove that there are some things worth discovering out there. :)

You know what would be nice? Being able to tell the NavCom 'plot me the first 1,000 Lys towards this object'
Absolutely! Perhaps a utility mount, activated as a toggle, that allows you to select bodies from your seat rather than through the navigation menu. :)

I think MattG just want to take a look at the detailed system Info on the left side of the system map, the second Button with the three little lines..
You can screenshot it without going back to that System if you dont want to. :)

Really a nice find, grtz! :)

D'oh! I'm glad you told me before I'd pared more than 1,000Ly off the journey!

Really a nice find, grtz! :)

I'd love to say it was down to my keen-eyed exploration skills, but it was pure, dumb luck. Not that I'm complaining :)

Wow! Now that's something I'd like to see! Nice find.

So, to sum it up:
- ELW has rings (rare)
- ELW is orbiting a dwarf star as a moon (very rare)
- ELW is co-orbiting four stars (very rare)
- ELW has >10% argon in its atmosphere (rather rare) and because of this, its composition is mostly ice (rare)

And this was only your second find. Well, it's going to be difficult for you to top this one. Here's hoping you will!
Oh, and if you don't mind, I'll add this to the list of ELW-s, now that there's a complete screenshot of the planet.

Oh, please do, and thank you.

Nice finds indeed!!

I've just found an ELW orbiting a Neutron Star, but this ELW also has a moon.

I'll post a screenshot soon.

Say, could you post some screenshots of the system map info of the four main stars and the dwarf star your Earth-like is orbiting? Stulli has recently found an Earth-like moon that's remarkably similar to yours, just around a dwarf star orbiting a solitary A star. I'd like to compare the two systems if possible - if you've scanned all the stars.
