refunded credits after PB2

so i understand , we are getting our last save credits return on next update ,, so sell everything except you current ship....

now release is tommorrow ,, are we suppose to do this tonight ,, or can it be done later in the week providing you don't upgrade..

reason is my pc is offline till Thursday ,, so i can't sell and save till im back online ..

anyone confirm either way

Is it really necessary to sell? I thought they were taking current progress into account or is that only your balance? If you sell you don't get the full value back...

From what I understand yes you should sell everything today since you should be getting the refund tomorrow.. im not clear whether or not the value of goods in the inventory will ne saved... o.o

Progress includes ship and mods thereto. The game can calculate the insurance payment accurately, so it would be easy to add the full asset value to the credit balance.

I would suggest that keeping cargo in the hold may be a bit risky though....

I'll be selling all my assets other than my ship as the last thing I do tonight.

I hope I get credits for my Eagle when the update happens, but I'm not relying on it.

mmm im getting conflicted info now,,, most i have spoken to say sell everything but your ship , now im hearing you have to ?????

anyway i have no internet till thursday so by the looks i could be screwed ,,,,
unless i can get pc to a friends house

I really hope we get all our credits back because I have made sure I only have 34 credits in total and ten minutes play time recorded .
I am an Alpha and Beta tester and expect to get reset so to make sure I do have already reset my stats as we were told would happen .

One very important point to note, Premium Beta 2 will unavoidably reset your progress, although we will automatically gift you credits to the approximate value of your progress to date (including credits and ship, so you will be able to immediately buy your ship again). We do apologise for the inconvenience, but there have been some significant changes that have required it.

I read the "progress to date" as credits in the bank and ship value for sure, less certain on cargo in the hold and modules added to the ship.

My reading also has it zeroing kill and deaths data, possibly bounties too.

cheers yaffle that answered it,, right got to get pc round a friends house to sell up and save ,, dam , not fun when no internet of your own
not that i have a lot in the bank,, but anychance of not going backwards i want to do what i can

In the absence of official confirmation the sensible thing to do seems to be flog your cargo and any ship upgrades you can get money for. I hope that we do get some definitive answer on this as the re-sale on weapons is pretty measily and on my current set up I could see the re-equip cost to be rather expensive !
