Arrived between Black hole and a Class F star

Jumping to a black hole system usually places you in front of the black hole. Today I jumped into Eorgh Prou MM-W e1-427 and to my surprise I faced a Class F star. Turned out that the black hole and the star is 3.57Ls apart. I can't remember seeing a star this close to a black hole before, so I'm happy for this surprise. Naturally I took a supercharged route back to Jaques Station to sell the data :)

Another very nice treat was that when selling the stack of systems I got this notification from the Pilots Federation:

I will look at my old screenshots from almost a year ago but there is a star somewhere between the bubble and the Eagle Nebula, or maybe it is in the Eagle Nebula, can't remember. Anyways it is a class B star primary with a Black Hole that is that close as well. I remember because I got too close to the black hole trying to get the pretty swirly effects from the Black Hole with the light of the blue star and got yoinked out of SC and I had to use all of the heatsinks I had for DWE to escape, didn't use a heatsink the rest of the trip but IIRC, I got lucky and did not need to.

+1 rep for the cool pics and video, I can't give you real rep atm :(

It's amazing that the BH orbits an F star. Usually, you get black holes with O or B stars, rarely with A stars. I'm intrigued. Care for a system map screenshot? ;-)

(You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to MacrosTheBlack again.) Virtual +1

System also has 2 terraformable & 1 water world.

LOL I found the screenies. I was way wrong. It is only about 1500LY outside of the bubble. In hindsight I should have gone back and gotten more heatsinks.....but this was my first really long trip so I did not know any better.

It is an awesome system to visit. Not only does it have a close binary that you jump in to with the black hole but it also has a pair of very very close neutron stars that would be awesome to see now that jets have been added.

The two circles here to the left of the star are the orbital paths of the two neutrons:

And here is the system map:

I think I am going to pop out there tonight and see what this system looks like now that jets have been added to the game.

I still think that having an F star primary with a BH companion is way more bad though, great find Macros!!
