Corvette in first encounter jumped to Aries Dark Region XU-O B6-3 in first video and from Pleiades Sector DR-M B7-2 to Pleiades Sector OI-T C3-8 while being interdicted during a jump on the way to Maia in the later video. Second in Hyades Sector WJ-Z b3 and Third in Pleiades Ector BR-M B7-

Corvette reportedly had no UAs onboard according to wing pilot (conflicting reports on this) but the second video shows the ship with 6AUs

Another player (Julian Frenjo McCoy) while talking on DJTruthsayer's stream) was also interdicted by an unknown ship and shot at it! It ignored him and continued to jump away. He took screenshots and wasn't recording. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Frenjo/screenshots/?appid=359320

I need to correct what happened to me. My intended destination was PLEIADES SECTOR HR-W D1-S7 and I got thrown out of hyperspace at PLEIADES SECTOR IH-V C2-12 instead.

Can this be amended in your post please, CHOPP3R? Thanks a lot!

Simple Science:

Classified Camera was completely unavailable throughout (likely because it is no more than a scripted event for now)
Ship (Asp Explorer) is not equipped with Palin's Patented Pox Preventative Racks (or whatever they're called)
EDDiscovery log lists the encounter as "Encoded, unknownshipsignature, Discovery Number 25" (are we being tagged and counted?)

Sadly I wasn't quick thinking enough to jettison the UA while the UFO was still present, but I did drop it in the vicinity of the unknown wake. This is on video if anybody wants a crack at the morse code to see if it's beeping anything different now (though you'll have to wait a while for the upload as my internet is abysmal).

11/10 would do it again. :D

I jettisoned my UA just after I got my systems back, as the alien was heading into witch space. No reaction. As said, it's probably just scripted.

Nah, my encounter was in Solo mode actually. I have now added that data to my post. Not really expecting a reaction from the UA due to the scripted nature of the encounter but it's worth a try, for the science!

Also, is anybody jumping with a UP on board? I wonder if it would make a difference.

Can anyone confirm that the modules list of the Unknown is as follows?

Sounds remarkably Human, one would assume the modules would all be unknown if they were recognised as modules at all?

I was catching Unknown Artifacts in one of the crash sites with other CMDR when he explodes without any reason, he has fuel and he was full hull and shields. He just explode...

I don't know if that happened to any of you but i am completely astonished o_O

If that happened to some of you CMDR's reply to this pls

Wow, the Thargoid encounter really is well done. I'm out near Colonia on my way back to the bubble and I've not been pulled out of hyperspace, but judging from all of these videos Frontier really did a great job with the sound and art for them. I wonder if they are localized to the Pleiades area or if it might happen to me all the way out here?
