Let's be optimistic. Booster nerf is still not confirmed for 2.2.03 live, so there's still hope. If it goes live, you should file a formal complain via support. Such shields involve a LOT of grind. FD's plans about Focused mod were scrapped due to many complains. Fat shield users should do the same.

Hey, do you know, what about gimballs and sensors? What's changed?
You do realize that actual shields are actually getting BUFFED right? Only boosters are getting nerfed.
As i understood Cutter shields will be increased by 15% but overal shield strength from boosters will be reduced to -40% so it means -25% shields for Cutter.
Looks like gimbals will be left alone (thank God!).

Shield boost will diminish after reaching overall 80% (4 unmodded A-class boosters), with hardcap of 150%.
What does it mean? For example, 5 Gj on my Vette became 3 Gj in beta. I am obviously NOT happy with this nerf. It took me many hours to unlock engineers and gather materials to build it.
I just kitted out a Corvette with Resistance boosters and Thermal resistant shields. I hope I get lucky this patch cycle... I should really check what the beta people are up to before settling on a mod configuration.
I think eventually we'll need to have one of each module, which we'll swap out for whatever's not been nerfed into the floor that week.
It would sure suck to have one of the Powerplay-specific modules nerfed hard. Spend two weeks pledged to some 2D image just to have your reward watered down.
