I was that unlucky conda haha, 8 mil rebuy but it wasn't nothing. I now have 1 UA, 1 UP, and 2 MA's in hold too and I can't seem to get interdicted at all.

So unfair, took weeks to get to Colonia to start a new life, then this happens...
Do you get interedicted every time you go in between those systems? Or is it random?
Random. There is speculation carrying a UA increases the odds though.
Each time I got interdicted, I was jumping from Maia to Asterope. With and without a UA.
Dam man saw that happen and rushed for the mail slot, had it happen to me too so I know how frustrating it is when we're all just trying to figure this out. I'm sure I ran into you at one of the crash sites too.
I've been thinking about selling the MAs and flying around with just the probe and artifact. Will try that I get back on.

Not a conclusive case, but worth keeping an eye on. For it to actually be planting barnacles it would need to be close to a planet, wouldn't it?
Regardless I'm hoping more high-res screenshots will show up catching the phenomenon so we can get a better look at that possible insignia.
PS: I like your username and profile pic, ExoForce was a favorite of mine when they were being sold.
From what I can see, I do notice the strange "distortion field" effect near the front of the ship, when it started spinning. I could not see anything else moving on the ship, though. Where should I be looking?
Been hyperdicted just once all day - and who'd have thought that all it took was carrying a UA and jumping to Merope.
Spent the best part of two hours (including the transaction server issues earlier) jumping <14ly at a time in my Vulture from Sol to Maia.
Then spent another three hours in the Pleiades cluster finding nothing.
Someone conveniently dropped a UA outside Obsidian in Maia so I grabbed it. Jumped to a random cluster star and then to Merope and bingo.
I wanted to try and get a side view of the ship jumping, which I pretty much achieved (video taken, maybe available later) ... a long thin wavy beam projects out of the front of the ship, which becomes a set of wavy beams as the portal opens up.
I had also promised myself that I'd run through the available systems to check the trajectory for triangulation purposes but COMPLETELY FORGOT!
I'm sorry. I must do better.
I'll try and get some kind soul to donate another UA to me later (as I passed it on once I got back to Maia) and get my act together.
Also, beware of "accidental" ship rammers at Obsidian station - keep pips to shields and stay below 100m/s.

Has anyone been "touched" with his shields off?
Try series of jumps around Colonia, and see what happens. We don't know if the entities are only around Pleiades at this point. Even a negative result from testing in Colonia would be useful information.

It's almost certainly correct. Posted this earlier in the thread but there's so much traffic it'all have been missed. But yeah, the wrecks are effectively upside down. All the pieces of the live ship are at the sites. If you look at the top of the crashed ship (the underneath at the site) you can see all the attachment points on the 'hull' where the 'wings' attach. Most have broken off completely but the tip of one has been driven through the hull and knocked off angle.
Saying this all from memory at the moment, and on mobile, will post pics when I can. (Trust me on it though, I spent ages looking at it and doing crash analysis!
