Jumped around for about two hours in and out of the UA bubble. Picked up UA and carted it around till it died.
Nothing happened.

Has anyone created a map of where the HS interdictions are taking place?
I got hyperdicted with a UA onboard.
As far as I can tell, the UA behaviour is unchanged - still points at Merope.

Yeah, I noticed that too when I had the encounter. From my viewpoint it looks like the same "tendrils" that is used in the "scan".

I got a UA (it scan me) in HIP 14479 the 05/01/17 15mins after the first sight, been jumping more than 14hs all over the Pleiades and more than 700 jumps, economical/Fast routes, with the UA, with MA, and all the systems that other CMDRs post it here. NOTHING YET.. So i dont think so.
"Footpedals" could be above his shoulders (head between and hands on the red console). In one of the first 1st person shooting game (at the time of old Elite game), artists made their portrait inside the head of main demon boss. Tribute? Mr. Braben ? Or cloud animals...

That's better, all the other vids were just to far way it looked like a single stream.
So yeah some sort o Star Trek deflector shield shenanigans going on there me thinks.

I personally think you're looking too deep into it now. It's probably a placeholder of a human cockpit seat for now until and actual one is modelled for these ships. I don't think FDev really anticipated for people to be taking such high res images just to glance into the 'cockpit'.

Yeah same here.
I was Hyperdicted within a couple jumps of my first visit to an Alien Crash Site near Pleiades and being scanned by one of the UA`s in the Area.

I don't know if it's been brought up but since people were focused on the Quirium mentioned in todays Galnet post it seems possible people may have glossed over the mention of the Type 2B drive, which apparently gave out a gaseous cloud, much like our new friends appear to.
Pretty sure this isn't it. I've been scanned by a UA before. I made many many dozens of jumps both with a UA, MA, both and none and I've yet to get interdicted. So if there's a magic bullet to make these interdiction's happen, that isn't it.
