That sound sounds clear enough to analyze it, and if FD put a sound for us to find something on it that could be it. Has anyone tried to find something on it?. I'd do it myeslf but I'm completley lost on sound decoding

Because UA and UP have different origins: one is from Oresians who want to help/warn us, the other is from Kalaxians wo want...well.. you know.... Right?

Think this: if you do things that others can understand/read you are implicitly telling them they can know what you are doing, and that you are of no harm to them... I mean, the UA is doing its own things, but we can see what it is doing cause it's transmitting in a language we can understand = Nothing to hide.

I mean IF (and it is still an if) they predominantly exist in hyperspace, it may be disadvantageous to them to bring us into normal space, where perhaps we are more comfortable than them. So why would they do it, rather than scan us in hyperspace itself? As M.Volgrand suggested, perhaps it is deliberately for our safety, and / or the technology is too limited or unstable to control, so they must also rely on normal space to scan us. They may have to do this quickly before they or their ships take too much damage.

Fair point. I was watching videos altering colors to eliminate gas/vapors as a cause for lights distortion. I stumbled over dissertation about gravity vortex used for high speed propulsion in space. Everything matches. At least for me.
EDIT: during the scan, one can see (depending on the quality of video) space dust flying from around CMDRs ship towards the alien.
We dont see the range because radar is off, but I do not see distance increasing between them visually.
Btw, need someone with better eyes then mine. Does alien ship jumps into the portal or the portal drags it inside?

It's not something I've come across, what were the principles of it?
When I was watching the one that the spectograph had been pulled from a few pages ago, it looked like the ship flew into the portal under it's own power - I think the 'jump' is an optical illusion though. When I was watching closely there didn't actually seem to be any jump or sudden acceleration of the ship, it just flies steadily into the portal and then once it's inside the portal suddenly closes.

Doesn't Elite have a sort of global time that applies to everyone? Lost time simply couldn't work whatsoever in this game if that's the case.

There's an interesting looking constellation if you pop out the far side!
Has anybody thought to try picking up a UA somewhere in the bubble and jumping around a bit? Granted, I realise that the UA isn't strictly necessary but for me it definitely seemed to make a difference. If we got CMDR A to transport a UA to CMDR B, for B to then pick it up and dance through some systems, do we think they would get aliened closer to "home"?

1st point: I found a UP at Pleiades Sector KC-V C2-6 1 (Ammonia World)
2nd point: I had the scare of my life as there was a video of the UA sound playing in the background while I was Alt+Tabbed from ED supercruising and reading the forums. Suddenly I hear the music from the encounter and a loud roar so I immediately alt+tab back to elite. Guess what, it's stuck. So I try again, and again, hearing the alien craft approaching. Finally I manage to get to the game and... Nothing. Turns out the video ended and autoplayed to an encounter video (which I didn't notice). God the pulse.
3rd: I combined the signal spectrograph from the UP (currently in my possesion) and the video from this post. It should be semi-synchronised (25seconds taken from both). The wavy part is similar (but faster in the UA signal). Anyone sees anything?
