I'm getting better frame rates in Stations.
I've set up Port Forwarding and accessing the Mission and commodities boards is markedly quicker, the network tweaks seem to be working.

Very pleased so far, great work FD.
If you’d be so kind as to let me know how to do this I’d be extremely grateful :)

I'm at work, please post a pic of an "improved" chrome ship. o7

Ask, and ye shall receive. My Chrome Cutter, picture taken a minute ago at Jameson Memorial:

You'll need a static IP if you haven't already got one then forward a Port in your Router to 5100. You then have to change a couple of lines in FD's AppConfig file.

I know that isn't explaining much but the info is out there, just make sure you have covered each of those steps and you should be golden!

/Oh, and a wired connection to your Router is a big help too!

New Engineer Recipes
thanks for these but I am still waiting on Sensor upgrades Lightweight, re-inforced, Sheilded etc?
Also you don't mention if comodoties are still required for Engineers, my pinned Blueprint says they are still needed.

You're completely, 100% wrong,. I enjoyed taking the occasional massacre mission and:
- Stalking the shipping lanes
- Finding targets in Rez sites
- Going to planetary surfaces and engaging targets
- Destroying civilian passenger and cargo ships
- Ambushing targets outside of stations

And anywhere else I might happen upon a target who I'm being paid to "massacre".

This has nothing to do with payout or stacking. It has to do with the fact that what once allowed for fun, varied play no longer does.

I didn't say this was a good change. Merely that several methods allowed for considerable parallelling of kills. I'd have preferred it if frontier left it alone, but the shouty "nerf stacking" platoon struck again. You can thank them instead.

so we now have fast recharging shield boosters? why did we get the new shield buffs (increased regen times and reboot) but not get the booster nerf?

Yeah, I know. *sigh*

why they give to the anaconda military slots and not to the python ?

Because the anaconda is a combat ship. And because it must, always, be the very best at everything. It's Frontier's golden goose. The python of course isn't a combat ship. It's a generalist.

Ignore that Anaconda is also a generalist that's the best at everything; because it's not. Today, it's a combat ship. Who know what it will be tomorrow.

- Added new military slots to the following ships:
- Eagle: 1x size 2
- Imperial Eagle: 1x size 2
- Viper Mk III: 1x size 3
- Viper Mk iV: 1x size 3
- Vulture: 1x size 5
- Federal Dropship: 2x size 4
- Federal Gunship 3x size 4
- Federal Assault ship: 2x size 4
- Imperial Cutter: 2x size 5
- Federal Corvette 2x size 5
- Anaconda: 1x5 size 5

that surely can't be 5 size 5 :)

Looking forward to this patch - good work Frontier

So the SLF problems are still here. If the menu is meant to be bugged and glitchy because of it being new tech in-game, just come out and say so. Otherwise fix it for goodness' sake!

So commodities are still required for engineering?

Wasn't that suppose to be changed?

Also I dont see skimmer-stacking changes ?

Thanks you kindly!

Plenty to get on with when I get back from work :)

I still believe this should read :
- Increase number of missions sent to clients as we're only sending relevant missions now, so we can make good use of the improved efficiency and guarantee a suitable, evenly spread Mission board even in Systems with many Factions within

Oh well, we'll see if the average Faction is now down to as little as 3-4 Missions due to reducing the already too low amount of total Missions even further.

Yes they already confirmed that, until now the server sent all possible missions to the client then the client discarded all the ones that were not needed. Now only the appropriate missions are sent to the client.
