Indeed. It really isn't that complicated. Sadly those who benefit from the status quo will fight it tooth and nail, no matter how inevitable and vital it is.
Well, the math and scenarios to make it work are. Talked some 20+ years ago about it with some progressive economists.
The computer I had back then had a fraction of the power of my smartphone. And they still try those basic income tests with some 18th century framework of "minimal to live" not "maximal output for an economy".
Sometimes even well meaning is badly done.
Iteration will be the key, as with most things. We don't have to get it perfect on the first try... and we won't.
So will reliable, correct, un-"politicized" data.
We'll hopefully get some baby step data from Finland's badly set up experiment in a few years.
