You say that as if it's our fault.

Has occurred so often now, and player actions not having any effect until something is switched on by frontier, so the next player to try it gets a result; disillusioned me to not try looking/solving anything as I just assume it's not in game yet or it's broken/a bug.
 
The truly disappointing part of this, as I sit here at work and live vicariously through others, is that FD monitor the boards, and I've seen at least one post from MB today, yet no one is addressing this. If it turns out that the content is just moved, someone should at least say so, since (we) were on a path that was stalled awaiting this update. Sad face.
 
Folks, on the train at the moment, so only mobile. Sorry for this. :-( have asked for comment from Fdev one way or the other. Locations shouldn't have been moved and beacons should be there. Will push for clarity on status.

I'm on my way there now as well.
I've been reading the Cannon thread while jumping and it struck me that I should have stopped at Ram Tah before heading out here. If the ancient ruins are related to what's out here, it might be a good idea to have the mission in your transaction tab before heading out.

I don't want to backtrack 2500ly to get it myself though. Just an idea to pass on for anyone just heading out.
 
Just a wild guess: something went wrong when building the live patch, including missing formadine content and the shield changes being fully absent as well. Lets see if there is a hotfix needed.
 
When we had the ctd issue they toggled off the location server side. My guess is they gave us the content but forgot to toggle it back on the server.
 
Do we have supposed exact coordinates of the base, or only crash locations? If the latter, I think it'd be jumping the gun to assume it's not there. Whatever the place is, I expect it's just a small outpost - probably hard to spot so quickly. I think one idea could be to get some pilots to line up at various latitudes near the equator, maybe 20 so -10 to 10 could be scanned, and then just go along that line for some time. Comb the desert!

I hope FD didn't move them. I know the comms sat is missing at EAFOTS LZ-H B10-0, because I been on the planet D 1 Since CoR started I sat there outside the CTD zone at -15 Lat -160 Long until the patch came out. Even I got board of waiting I scanned most of the system in a 400ly radius. After scanning I came back and parked my sit there at D 1 until the patch that just came out today.

Look just a few posts before yours. Drew said the beacons are supposed to be there. They aren't. If they are missing then it is a good assumption that the rest is too.

Sounds like they forgot to re-enable the content they disabled. It was probably still visible in dev mode.
