Station inside a ring

Will have a poke about when I get home. I know I've been to 2 or 3 systems with stations between ring and planet but I move around a lot depending on what I feel like doing so it may take a while

I've seen stations between planets and rings, that's not really special, since once you drop @ station, you won't even see the ring. But this stations is actually inside the ring. Didn't know stations like this existed.

Aaah sorry didn't look at the picture as on my mobile. I have heard of this though. There was a previous forum thread some time ago 6 months or so where I read about that. Never been to that one myself though

AFAIK there are no actual stations in rings in-game, but some CQC assets are placed in-game now, in rings. You cant land there though. Its a step towards asteroid bases I believe, which were shown in the PS4 trailer.

I think there is. Someone brought it up in a mining thread whilst talking about mapping asteroid fields. I may just have imagined it though lol

That picture is from the very first flight trainer, though. I believe. It ends with "... and now, navigate to the station to conclude this exercise." In so many words.

Would be very grateful for a few concrete examples :)

Noti, Weber Gateway, where the Masterchefs are sold is one.

Qa'Wakana, Carpini Terminal

There are also some in Reorte, Ruchbah, and Ki systems

There is also one somewhere with a pristine metallic ring close by, can't remember where though.

I went to an outpost within a ring recently.
Ignore me. I misread. Though it was stations orbiting between ring and planet.
