Re: Multiple Ancient Sites.

Just reading the patch notes: Fix data message IDs at all ancient sites for the associated mission so that the codex scans actually trigger an inbox message.

So there are multiple (3+) sites. Can someone remind me how the one site we know about was signposted in the game (not triangulated from the trailer?)

Also note "mission" singular. Multiple ancient sites cover the Ram T mission.

How did you conclude that there are 3+ sites from the patch notes?

We only know about the ancient site due to the Frontier trailer which allowed people to triangulate from star positions in the sky. Basically it was brute forced. So without additional new trailers, or some in game information to lead us there, we have no way to find additional ruins, if they even exist.

I had hoped my stellar map theory would uncover other ruins but alas it never did.

Thanks for clarifying - I was just reading the "3+" into the choice of English:
One Ruin would have read..."at the ancient site"
Two might have read "at both ancient sites"
Hence I was reading "at all ancient sites" to mean 3+

Also I'm getting the impression that the current site won't deliver enough codex/artifact combos to complete the mission objective.

Man... When it rains, it pours! RIZAL!

I cannot see the video right now, what do you mean with no honk?
The UP activated itself on his own because it was close to the UA?

It need to be reproduced by someone else then.

Could be a new change of today's patch, as I already tested it in the past ;)

When the UP was dropped into the UA's field, it shut down the ship without needing to be manually honked.

Ah - so two copies are a combo. I was wondering.

Yes, And the message could be different. I am currently hunting for an UP.... If i find one I will test it ASAP. But I am not getting lucky so far :(

Also on the UP hunt, I thought there was some different behaviour when honked at, didn't seem to spin me round just a brief disable, but will check this again and video

rizal

Your map on the front page is not correct... there is a Server block to the extreme east of the site in the far triangle formation.
And the west side of the site has a Server block in the middle triangle formation.

i will use my own map from this point onwards based upon your map.

i have parts
10/21 (historicial).
8/21 (historicial)
9/19 (Bio Data)
12/21 (language)
8/21 (language)

I have a UA and UP in my ships hold at the moment, how would I replicate this? Drop the UA, then the UP and see if my ship shuts down without me scanning it?
