Drop the UA. You will have a limited time tho. Try to aim your cargo hold into the UA distortion field and drop UP. It's hard to aim properly, took me a couple of tries.

Well than this could be something...
Found the Private Signal at a Crashsite CLOSE to the Blackhole, scanned it and got Eccentric Hyperspace Trajectories... the (might) interesting thing is that the second "message" i got closed with "Unknown Ship registerd..." (have screenshots of the Messages but only in German)
The Bookmarks i think are new are in Aries Dark Region ON-T c3-13 (Planet 1,2,3) when i go to "Local Bookmarks" in the System Map all are shown as unexplored (what is nonsense, scanned all three and actually on the Surface of Planet 1)
Also have another bookmark not sure about, will cross check with Captains Log later.
Is it possible that the combinations are randomized per commander? Like maybe it’s not persistent, and different for everyone?
I just decoded No 14 using 2 relics. Entry is Research 7/20
If this is the case FD really hates us, the players.
If I keep my ship stationary, and just fire them both out with a small delay between them, they should be ejected in the same direction no?
Watch closely if UP denonates UA to drop seeds...

I have no idea, did not try that as I never scooped the UA. Got disconnected before that could happen. Try it.

I got that with tablet and relic at obelisk 5.
Then again it does stop everyone from getting 100 million credits. Which is what would happen if the puzzle was exactly the same for all of the players in the game.
Brooks has warned us it would not be easy.
So we can all work together to put all of the pieces of the Guardian story together so far but very few us will completely solve the puzzle ourselves and get a 100 million credits. Personally i like that.

Ok. I am an idiot!
I got the probe, rushed to the nearest crash site, 3 jumps away ( I don't have CRCR) I take 5 minutes to locate the damn thing and 5 minutes to land, my canopy is damaged, I fear for my life, I land... and i remember.... Idiot me stormed away to find aliens without an SRV. One time, One time i need that SRV I sold it to replace it with something like a cargo rack.... That's the first time since i bought Horizons that I am without an SRV....
Anyway... I jettisoned the UP next to the crash site, missed it, but then started pushing it with my ship's nose, So i got the UA and UP pretty close, ( like 10 meters or something) but nothing happened. I was on the planet tough.... Maybe you need to be in space. I have embarrassing footage but I don't want to share it

Has anyone tested do two of the same artifacts count as a new set? Or if the relics count as a valid item?
I've systematically tested most sets (above not included) and so far 9 pieces of data collected. I am terrified of bugs though, since sometimes music is triggered and no messages appear...
I can fill out the forms as soon as I have my own complete and can translate my numbers to yours. If someone has added the 15th obelisk

But btw, you get 100 mln credits when you complete all puzzles from all existing ruins or you get something also when you solve one ruins?
I took off into normal space, dropped the UA followed by the UP, and a second time reversing the releases...nothing untoward happened. Both sat within close proximity of each other letting off their respective red and green sparkles, but no scans or noises that wouldn't be expected otherwise...firing my ADS gave the standard result from the UP.

Given that the mission say ruins we can guess there multiple sites will need to be cracked to get the 100 million.

Haha, happens to everyone. Try doing this:
1. Keep the UP in cargo hold.
2. Fly around until you find "Anomaly detected (threat 4)" - UP.
3. Jump in. Do NOT pick it up.
4. Align your cargo hold and try ejecting the UP a few times.
5. It took me a couple of tries to get it. Still not sure what I did to fire it.
6. I'll try to replicate it once I find a UA.
BTW. I was hyperdicted once before. Did this whole thing while looking for the second one.
Hm... I was never hyperdicted.... I lost the UP. Jettisoned it on the planet and couldn't pick it up. But i got them pretty close and nothing happened for me. And i see another CMDR reported that nothing happened to him too

Well that's kind of the catch. It would seem there isn't enough data at this one location and the mission directly mentions there being more than one site. Given how we found this one, finding another or perhaps more all while trying to solve this puzzle us going to be a bit crazy. Personally I think I'm passing on this one since it's beginning to look well beyond your typical definition of hard.
