Alien archeology and other mysteries: Thread 9 - The Canonn

Good morning everybody!

I know there is an error in the map but I'm waiting someone to update it. However you can find the map in the spreadsheet as well.

NOW THE IMPORTANT THINGS:
I strongly think that, reading carefully through all the data we found, we already have hints about how to find the other Ruins.

What I take from the data is that this civilization is very similar to us, or perhaps even less advanced, though they have reached other achievements in other aspects of technology, they were not so advanced in terms of interstellar travels.

So my conclusion is that THE OTHER RUINS MUST BE VERY CLOSE TO THE ONE WE ALREADY FOUND. A near star system, OR EVEN THE SAME ONE: EVEN THE SAME PLANET!
Another reason for me to think this, is that the mission has a time limit. And we know that a time limit not goes well with the size of the galaxy.

No need to go to the other side of the galaxy, like some are suggesting, being very wrong IMHO. ;)

Be careful.

Many people suggest to look to the north of this planet, but is this really the home planet of the aliens? I mean it has no atmosphere and stuff... Maybe this is just an outpost, but yes the other one should be close by.

I can only agree with Riz here.

Especially since we know that they used mass drivers as launchers, and that the site central "ramp/edge" could very well be such a thing.
An other interesting thing about mass driver technology, is that it works really well on low gravity worlds/moons, i.e. 0-0.3g
(One of the reason mass drivers on earth have been considered impractical is the enormous size those device require to overcome 1g+atmospheric drag
while keeping acceleration at "reasonnable" levels).

Using combinations from various tables posted here and on discord, I've got 13 pieces of data.

So:
1) combinations work, there is no randomness, only errors in tables
2) at least one combination is missing from the table most people here are using, because they say they got only 12, and I've got 13.

"With rocket technology deemed enviromentally unfriendly, they developed vast launchers that used electro-magnectic propulsion to catapult ships into space. Breathable gel cocoons helped pilots and passengers withstand the huge G-forces experienced on launch, and served as hibernation pods during long journeys.Having not yet developed faster-than-light technology, the Guardians constructed three large arks for their first interstellar colonies. Much like the Generation ships in our own history."This would indeed indicate that the colonies are nearby, if we assume these attempts were successful.

Random thoughts:

There are blue dots on hyperspace tunnel. Anyone noticed? Maybe they indicates a place just like that one on the trailer;

Maybe Alpha, Gamma and Delta are just A, G and D, respectivelly, and so on.

I agree with Rizal, the other ones must be close;

There are typos on the Ram Tah texts (eg.: guardians and Guardians) so there might be others, be alert;

The yellow-ish thing on the hyperspace resembles the giant space flower ship. Maybe a good still picture can show us some more detail;

On the ruins, there are structures all around it that resembles a lock system. If you look on the side, there are two parts that appears to be able to move. Some, are lying down instead of standing still;

People should really disable the wave scanner and listen to the obelisks while approaching them.

The obelisks have symbols on the front and I didn't see anyone comparing them.

Between the obelisks there is a pavement, maybe it indicates a track or sequence;

The ruins itself resembles a language symbol and one of the language research data tells us that Guardians communicate through symbols, patterns;

Yep, after checking - 13 messages gathered in sheet as well

What spectrum software do you guys use? Was thinking to put the new UA and UP interaction through it and see what we get. Maybe some clues to the other sites?

The official tool of the thread is Sonic Visualizer, easier than Audacity, it does not need almost any setting to work out of the box ;)
Search the FrontPage's posts for Sonic Visualizer, and you should find even some usage examples... ;)

Im sorry, i posted in an earlier post and didnt do it in the last one, sorry, here it goes.

The 14 is the 15 and the 15 is the 14. I did that myself because when i was scanning i saw one guy who puts 2 obelisk more and i didnt wait for someone to put one correctly and started my own, sorry.

And Riz, ty for the spreadsheet in the FP :D

god, we are using the same map and you are getting TOTALLY different results :|

I'm about to PM Riz, but there's an error on the map on the 1st page, in case nobody has noticed. The following obelisk (green circle) is also active.

I've also (finally) found a totem at the purple circle.

Thanks Riz, can't rep :)

the map is already fixed in the module, rizal here is the link https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...9-The-Canonn?p=4991369&viewfull=1#post4991369
