Two first for me, my first post on this forum and my first using a mobile phone.
The depth of information and hypothesis in this thread is overwhelmingly awesome. I must confess , I was in it for the money.... but now..... I'm in it for the answer. My mind is working overtime. So many maps, so much math. It can't all be wrong and it can't all be right. So my $0.02 might count for something and spawn a smarter mind than mind. Everything we see is in 3s or multiples thereof, hexagons, triangles , coordinates. Look at the top of the obelisk, look at the patterns on the ruins. I'm not a great person with screen-prints or Photoshop, maybe someone else wants to mock up my hypothesis. Look at the overall shape of the ruins. Use the pillars around the outside as distance markers and draw two overlapping hexagons using the boundary of the ruins.

I saw an image of an official elite map of Sol in this thread

So if the hypothesis around the centre mound holds true then we have a frame of reference to measure based on the columns around the perimeter. I'm off home soon and will get some CAD software involved. just though I would add what I see. I might be off by a galactic mile
